Kathy, welcome back to the frozen tundra also known as the Great Lakes Region. I'm glad you were able to enjoy some nice sunshine and warm temps; I'm envious of you, I'm so tired of this frigid cold and never ending snow fall this year.
Thanks, Bob. We are actually warm today...52 with a bright, beautiful sun. Although a dusting of snow is now predicted for Saturday night.
It was good to get away from it for awhile.
I'm sorry to hear about Mark and needing to have his gall bladder removed; fortunately it is nothing worse and he will be up and about real quick. A good friend of mine just had theirs removed a couple of weeks ago and they are doing great. Prayers out to Mark.
He plans on going back to work that Monday...so only 3 days after the surgery to relax. But it is so different now than it used to be.
I am so sorry to hear about Andy's friend Joe. I am so tired of hearing the word "cancer." I sure do pray we can fiind a cure for this dreaded disease and make it history.
I do too; it breaks my heart for someone so young with their whole life ahead of them.
If you will Kathy, keep my mother in your thoughts and prayers. As you know a couple of years ago my mother had stage 4 ovarian and cervical cancer. After surgery, radiation and chemo the doctors said she was cancer free. A couple of weeks ago my mother called to tell me the doctors found a few "abnormalities" in her tests. She again called me a few days ago and informed me that she now has breast cancer and that she also will undergo further tests to see if the cancer is elsewhere.
