ALEX, EROS knows that GOD works in strange ways . If the TURKS have abolished capital punishment for PURELY SELFISH economic access through the EU, then IT DOESN'T MATTER whether they believe that it's the "moral" thing to do. I'm result driven.

Contrarily, we may be the most "moral" nation on Earth (doubtful in spite of the "America, Love it or Leave it crowd"), but our actions speak louder than words.........our use of execution has no moral validity but seems to satisfy the bloodlust and vengeance crowd .........

Alex, I always knew that JTB was more righteous than myself.......after all she's a Biblical legend on the DIS . I will admit that in the thread subject I "implied" that the Turks are more moral than us. She is RIGHT in questioning their motives, but one can't argue with their result. The execution of criminals is the right and moral thing to do. The immoral and wrong thing to do is to let them free to victimize more innocent people.
Of course the aclu has no concern for victims and much perfers the criminal element to be free in society to prey on the weak!!! They make more money trying to get people worked up defending the criminals than if they showed any concern for the victims!!!!
