Duster mom you were reading it correctly. I have updated the list now. Dustermom double check I got the people correct. I removed the names of the non participants. I am trying hard to keep the list down to two pages.

Everyone else double check. Then I will update the word version to make that one fun and pretty. Hope hosting this on google docs made it easy for everyone. For those with middle school and high school kids you can now tell your kids you too use Web 2.0 tools aka 21 Century Skills

Anyone else have Monday off? Dh and I are both off work while the kids are in school - absolute shocker - that's never happened before (b/c of 17+ yrs at my old job), so we are planning a breakfast date and a day in Annapolis at the sailboat show. Can't wait.

I also have monday off from work while my ds has to go to school!! However, instead of having a day to myself... I scheduled our fall conference w/ ds's teacher and an orthodontist appointment for ds. I will need to pick him up early from school. So, even when I'm not working...I'm working!!!

DusterMom -- you have my old rooms from my last cruise - we loved them!! we originally had them booked for this cruise too! but then opted for at GTY - we love our new assignments now but would have loved a window - but that is ok -

For those of you who are off tomorrow - have a great day. I work in healthcare so I've never had this type of holiday off. It's still a novelty for me to have Thanksgiving and the weekend off - one of the reasons, we're cruising.

It's a beautiful fall day up here.

I'm waiting for the phone to ring. Our daughter called me at 8:30 and she was having contractions every 10-15 minutes thru the night. I told her to go drink some juice, eat breakfast, and shower and see what happens. So - hopefully, today is the day that we get to meet our grandson.

We took the boys to see Toy Story yesterday. Had fun and we all enjoyed it. For some reason, I don't think I ever saw Toy Story 2 or if I did, I didn't remember it. Good story lines. The 3D thing was good too.

I also work in Healthcare ( all of us do - Charlie / Renee and I all work at the same hospital ) so we only have the MAJOR holidays off -- as a finance/billing manager I tend to get a few more days than Charlie and Renee as they work more front line-ish. But we are all working tomorrow.

I did take the 30th off so that we can decorate for Halloween - not sure what we will do as we usually do a HAUNTED house - (garage) but this year we won't have time to do it ALL - so I was thinking of doing a witchy caldron (sp?) put a fire in the fire pit and have our dry ice and smoke going and scare people that way - DD does not want to do that - she wants the haunted garage I think - but that usually takes us about 4 weeks to prepare ( we are a tad elaborate in this venture ) and since we leave a few weeks later there will be no time to set up and take down. we shall see

How exciting!! We wish your entire family well!! This is a big birthday time for our family. My father turned 86 on Oct. 9th, Chuck's mom's birthday was yesterday, Oct. 10th and Mason turns 10 on Oct. 15th!!

Hi all,

I just finished a very long day and a half (that was actually the equivalent of 2+ very long days....15 hours yesterday and 6 hours today) and now I have some free time....for about 3 hours until my conference starts. I can tell you NOTHING about Boston other than the Westin Copley Place is very nice and that dinner last night at Atlantic Fish Company was terrific (blackened chilean sea bass...yum!)

So, I will be sending off our t-shirt order on Tuesday....we're at 63 shirts and holding. If anyone still wants one, speak now!

I will post the updated list with shirt count by family later today. Right now, I'm going to eat a bite of lunch and maybe take a nap.

Can't believe we are less than 6 weeks!

And lots of birthdays this week! Happy Birthday all! My dad, (who's turkey cruising with us), turned 69 on Oct 9th too. We're celebrating tonight since they were in FL with dsis on the 9th.

I just finished a ton of paperwork and cleaning this weekend. I think I can concentrate on cruise plans now.
