I logged onto our reservation today.

We are a 12 GTY and it looks like we've been visited by the upgrade fairy. We're in stateroom 1030 - which is a cat 9. It's on deck 1, right next to the tender lobby and right down the hall from the medical center. I guess they must know I'm a nurse, huh?

So, what are your thoughts on this location? I guess I am happy about having natural light in the room though. I was dreading having all that darkness but didn't care.

Congrats.... We were 1032 for the fourth and we loved the location minus the trip to deck nine. Congrats

I was surprised to get an assignment this early, but, I figured it was worth checking. I was seeing some people in the cruise before us getting assigned last Tuesday, so, I was hoping that we would be soon.

What are the chances of them moving it around at this point? Do they ever do that?

Hmm I dont know if they move people around - I just noticed I dont have the split bathroom or a steamer trunk - so that will be a downer - but oh well - we will pack light!

what I did was go to the disney cruise site -
bring up the floor plan
and if there is an indentation in the wall or somethng like that it will be a steamer trunk I was told...

off to see if yours has one! IT shows on your room number an indentation in the wall

LisaD - you should like those rooms - we had 6639 - which is the starboard clone of your room on our very first cruise. The location is convenient and it is generally a quiet part of the ship.

Karen, thank you for letting me know you forgot to include my name. I knew that was the case. I just wanted to give you a hard time!!!

I didn't know that some rooms didn't have the steam trunk. I just assumed they all had one. They are great except when someone needs to get by!!!

6 weeks and 2 days until we set sail!!!!!
