I went to Belks....are there Belks in FL? They had extra 40% off summer stuff. I got a pair of Clarks sandals that were regularly $70 for $21! A pair of Keds pink and green flip flops that were $33 for $4!

Good luck....let me know if you have a Belks and if you find some good deals!

We took DS9. DS14 went to Gettysburg for camping overnight. We got there around 2:30. We looked around a little bit because he had never been to the B&O Museum before and then the line was 1 1/2 hr wait when we got in line. ITA - it was OK but not worth the wait. I did meet a nice person in line and we talked about WDW most of the time. Her DH posts here on the Dis and they have used Tour Guide Mike as well so we had a lot to talk about.

I didn't see any little girls in a Minnie dress and I would've noticed her if I did cause I would've commented on it. That would've been neat had we been talking and not knowing we'll be on the same cruise.

We didn't get there until almost 5pm, hence DD's exhaustion. We had archery and soccer during the day. Would have been crazy to see you there! At least you had someone to talk to, I was standing behind a woman who was constantly yelling at her kids in a very harsh way and in front of a woman who was cracking her gum every 3 seconds.

getting CLOSER AND CLOSER --- I am getting filled with more excitement.

Yesterday we all tried on our outfits to be sure Pirate night was set to go...it was-- check it off the list...

Prepared my FE presents and prepare for mailing to a cousin that live in Orlando - so as to not have to put in luggage --- check it off the list....

We left around 5:30. As for Belk's -- the only one I know of is in Westminster. I don't shop there very often - I much prefer Boscovs.

Back from Business Trip... Wild couple of days..

Here in West Virginia in our local county first death from H1N1 14yr old boy. Many are in a panic... We are keeping our cool. So far at DD's school no flu outbreak yet...

Looking forward to Disney Cruise. Started putting all cruise items together. Met a woman while I was traveling, she always mails items for FE directly to boat. I have never done that, but may check it out.

Today I was taking a first responders course and one of the other students was on the opening team for Cast Away Cay...she lived on the Island for 3 years and had great stories for us...made lunch go fast.

Just got back from the Train Tour of Disney's A Christmas Carol. Very cool looking movie, looking forward to seeing it on the cruise!!! The Tour was kinda neat but not worth the 2 hour wait to see the exhibit.

Dustermom, did you end up going? Maybe you saw us there... my DD3 was the really obnoxiously tired and cranky girl wearing in a Minnie dress. The 2 hour wait was waaayyy more than she could handle.

Well... I didn't see you there - b/c I was working - got 16 more hours comp time - happy day!!!! But my parents took the kids while I worked. They LOVED it. Now they left at 3:50 and got there by 4:20 and there was absolutely no wait at all when they got there. I guess they got to see 8min of the movie in 3D,(which the 9 yr old tried to describe in detail), and there was some graphic where you took your picture and they turned you into scrooge? But it had your eyes and teeth? My 5 yr old was just dying over that one. My mom wished she had a video of it, she was so funny. So without the wait is was very enjoyable. I'm sorry you guys were so miserable.

My 5 yr old will also have her minnie dress on the cruise, and her snow white dress, and sleeping beauty.... Whoever was talking about packing light - we'll be the opposite - i'm afraid.

I've got to get serious about the FE gifts and also start my packing lists. I'm just not there yet and I really feel like its right around the corner now. But things should get better after this week. I'm in finance and we are still finishing year end close - which is getting me all the fabulous comp time right now. So next week.

H1N1 is BAD around here. Esp. in the middle school where my dd12 is. We have a pediatrician 2 doors down and she said most every kid she saw from the middle school last week at her office tested positive. My 2dd's were running fevers this weekend. Only the little one seems bad and I think we'll take her in tomorrow to get checked. Nasty cough with it. We'll all be getting the flu shot for sure -we always do - but i think we'll have already had h1n1 so it may be too late by the time it arrives. We'll see.

Destination Imagination question: My younger one did it for 2 years and chose to try something different this year. I think in theory it is a great program, but in practice, it is hard to pull off. More power to you. I know the kids you are working with are getting so much out of it. My son learned and had a great time when he did it.

I read on one of the trip reports about people attending the Captain's Reception on Captains Gala night. Is this the same thing as the "reception" in front of Tritons on 3 and 4 day cruises where you can take pictures with the Captain and characters or are the different?

Steffy - I believe it is one of the formal nights for pictures with the captain and a certain mouse dressed like one...

I am having trouble remembering the three night. Basically yes the Captain and the officers are out there to greet you. They have free drinks for a short period of time and the piano player plays. The characters are out in their formal wear.

I searched and found it. I downloaded it as a ring tone on my phone and I have been laughing all day!

We will try to get the H1N1 vaccine before we leave. 3 of us are asthmatics. I think we already had it though...they no longer run confimative tests here unless they see a really good reason to.
