Hmmm...after midnight here. Still up working on my HUD grants but I'm really close to submitting one of them. The other....well...it's gonna be a long day tomorrow (actually, I guess that's today)!

I spent the day at a huge event at the Amway Arena where I got to listen to Lou Holtz, Colin Powell, Rudy Guilliani, Laura Bush, and Terry Bradshaw all speak....it was definately an inspirational day.

Now onto finishing up some cruise signs.

Chun - yes, we are sailing with DD Leah and her BFF Leah.

Too cute! My DD10 Megan has 2 Megans -- one local, one who moved to FL. But whenever we travel together (even to the store) people look at me funny when I say, "Megan and Megan"...

Kinda like that show (Newhart?) where the guy would introduce his brothers, "This is my brother Darryl, and my other brother Darryl."

Good morning everyone!! Happy Veteran's Day!! My dad is a retiree from the U.S. Military...he spent this past weekend at Homestead Air Base watching an incredible air show with the Thunderbirds!!

Mason has today off of school...I told him it's a good day to catch up on the work he will be missing while he is away. He did not like that idea at all!

Hey Wendy, can you include a "class" on how to design magnets in the mini-Navigator? I'd love to take that class!

Sure we can maybe put something together. I am traveling with my Windows Laptop. I thought of using the Microsoft Publisher program that is real user friendly and most people should have it in the Microsoft Suite of programs....

I think maybe Thanksgiving Day ??? We are at sea that day.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe I can get Chun to help.

Vacation starts in 3 days and I have a nasty cough brewing

DH is heading to the walk in clinic right now as he is not feeling well - not a cold or flu - but is not feeling well at all - maybe needing some blood work or labs to see if there is something brewing or even maybe a kidney stone -

This is not what I want to be doing right now ya know....

So we are all home today - Renee is off from school due to Holiday ( thank you to all the Vetrans! ) and I am working from home -

Last vacation we were at the ER with Renee due to a severe sore throat - they tested her for strep and it came back negative - but the doc was a person I know and I explained we were leaving for a Disney Cruise - she was like OHHH myyyyyy - here take these samples in case you need them....thankffulllyy we never did - but goodness!!

We leave a week from tomorrow !

Leslie, if your box doesn't arrive today please let me know so we can begin tracing it through the Post Office.

I know what everyone means about "this may be the last Turkey cruise." We were thinking about it for next year....but I just don't know. We know we want to go either to Disneyland or Sanibel in March, my parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in June and we were thinking about trying to take them somewhere and then we want to do a Fall trip...but we may have to combine the summer and fall trip into 1 big trip for the parents. Who knows at this point!

Hi everyone! I'm officially in starting to "freak out" mode and DexH hasn't even started packing yet. He is a notorious OVER packer and DD is a big old teenage mess so I can't wait for the two of them to share a cabin. PS - if in doubt, find me at the Cove staying the heck away from the clash of the titans!!!


I am so READY READY READY to go away. Haven't figured out what to do in St. Thomas for the day. What is everyone doing that day? I'm not big on "official" cruiseline excursions, so if anyone has found anything cool to do, please share
