Thank you for taking this on.

I spent the day at a huge event at the Amway Arena where I got to listen to Lou Holtz, Colin Powell, Rudy Guilliani, Laura Bush, and Terry Bradshaw all speak....it was definately an inspirational day.

Now onto finishing up some cruise signs.

Hi everyone,

I'm so glad many of you got your shirts today! Did anyone NOT get theirs? If so, don't despair...you will likely get them tomorrow. I thought they turned out well and I'm happy to hear that you did too.

Now I have a favor to ask....do you think we could all get together on Saturday (somewhere) with a photographer to get our photos taken for Chris and Nanci (the wonderful t-shirt printers)? I'd love to send them a photo of us all in our shirts -- I know they'd get a bang out of it!

Whoever is doing name tags....can you do 1 that says Pixie Dust for Me, 1 that says The Duck Stops Here and one that says Pixie Dust's Silent Hubby? Poor Steve lives in a house of Disboarders....and we still can't get him to post. I don't know what's wrong with him.........clearly he needs an education!

Wendy, I'm sorry about not even thinking to ask if anyone wanted a special shirt for a critter. We always get one for Spot...Youth XS...in case you want to in the future.

Is anyone planning on trying to book for Turkey Day 2010 or Turkey Day 2011? This has been such a wonderful group (the 2008 Turkey Day Gang must have been full of stick in the muds)...I'd love to sail with you all again!

Blasted school !! We are in the same boat here. I so wish Disney would start doing 7 day cruises in the summer...I have now been spoiled and don't think I would do a shorter one.

I am going to use the FE List as the starting point for Name tags. Everyone will inherit their screen names from the FE List unless you notify me separately. (e.g. Bigeskimodog - Chun, Bigeskimodog - Felicia)

Please let me know if any of your cruisemates have DisBoards names.

Also, anyone not participating on FE List but want name tags, please post here so I can make them.

Wow! I'm like 8 pages behind and absolutely no help with multiple posts to reach our goal. Sorry about that. I'm going to try to catch up with everything I read. I hope this works.

DD12 had to type a poem (a very, very loooooong one), last night and then tonight dd5 knocked the modem off the desk and we had to wait for dh to get home just now to fix it.

The Shirts arrived yesterday!!!! Thank you! Thank you! Many happy children & adults running around the house last night. We LOVE the color.

Thinking Black here, but jeans aren't a bad idea either. Hmmmm. Tough decisions. Hard to think shorts right now. Been a little chilly. Can't go with the optional choice. Been a "good girl" too long.

my room is in the same shape! i decided today was a good day to start packing, so i ransacked the drawers, but now i have to go to store to get a few things before i can pack outfits. what a mess!!

Only one post for me today.

We're lucky with our schools the week of Thanksgiving. Monday & Tuesday of that week are teacher conference days with no school for students. Our boys are missing 2 days of school for the trip. DH emailed both principals yesterday and got 2 emails back saying thanks for letting us know and have a good time.

Up until 2005 I was never able to take off the week of Thanksgiving because of being a nurse. I still enjoy being off for the holiday.

And to get in one more post because I thought of more things...

We're doing this cruise b/c school is closed the whole week for the older kids and 3 days for the 5yr old. Its awful trying to make up missed middle school work. DD12 hates getting sick b/c the amount of work to make up is really overwhelming.

And you were talking about rebooking. I'm not planning to book anything more while we're on board this time, but I am curious- did anyone do the Med last time? Our summer babysitter and her family did it the last time they were there, what 2 years ago? and they absolutely loved it.
