Anyone eat here before?? We're staying at the SSR and I'm trying to figure out one of the meals. I thought it might be easier to eat at our resort and then go exploring. No parks that day, so thinking of resort restaurants or DTD. I got knocked down on 'Ohana so that's out.

I think Turf Club is one of the hidden gems at WDW for dining. The menu is not extensive but we've eaten here twice and been pretty pleased with the food. It ranks as one of my top 1TS places.

We ate there 3 times one trip. Its good decent food. We actually liked lunch the best because we sat outside and enjoyed the view.

Hmmmm maybe I will have to add this to the definite list!!

The Turf Club is great! I would put the Prime Rib up against the Filet at Jiko or Le Cellier.

We ate at the Turf Club in Sept for the first time and I think my entire family was in agreement it was the best meal of our trip and we thought all of our meals were very good. We even ate at Le Cellier and while we thought Le Cellier was very, very good we thought the Turf Club was much better. It is on our must do list for now on.

We also ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe and it was also very good as well, though Turf Club was still our favorite.

I have eaten steaks (dinner), burgers (lunch), crab cakes, lamb chops...
All good. I am not a steak person. But theirs are REALLY good.
Although it has been awhile, and they may have changed the steak options. They use to be offered with a choice of two toppings. Either which were good.

I really love Turf Club as well! DH & I eat there every trip. Our last trip in September we ate there 3 times and it was really good every time! DH had the roasted mushroom app every time and I had the crab cakes app every time. I have had crab cakes at almost every restaurant in WDW and these are far and away my favorites! The steak they have now is covered in a bernaise sauce and crab meat, which is really tasty and as others have said the prime rib is excellent! I have pics of a few of the different dishes if you would like me to post them for you. :goodvibes

I made a dining reservation today for the Turf Club based on praises I've read both on The Dis and in guide books. I can't remember which book it was but the same exact words - "hidden gem" - were used to describe this restaurant. I am looking forward to it! :thumbsup2

The menu looks really good. I have had my eye on this restaurant for awhile now trying to decide if I should go here instead of Yak and Yeti. Does anyone have any feedback for me?

What did all you guys eat there?

I've only eaten at Turf Club once but still remember I had a wonderful meal there. I had their blackberry lemonade, calamari, steak with crab topping, and hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream. That steak was better than the one I had at Le Cellier and Yachtsman that week and almost as good as the charcrusted steak I had at Flying Fish (which is my favorite steak at WDW).

We've had steaks, pasta, fish. Think my little one had a burger. Like I said before it was good. If I had a choice, I would pick a signature restaurant over it but all meals were good and service was good. We ate there when we stayed there after being exhausted from the parks. It was perfect for that.

The Turf Club is great! The cast was really the shining star. Kevin, the manager, was such a pleasure and his team were right on queue.

The food is good and we actually cancelled ADRs so we could have a few lunches and dinners here. Not a signature restaurant, but good food and service.

It should also be mentioned that the atmosphere is really nice-low lighting at dinner, a nice relaxing place to eat. This is one of our favorites.

Another recommendation for the Turf Club - Very good crabcakes and lamb chops. It is somewhat out of the way but the service is good and it has a relaxing atmosphere.

Have a great trip.:cool1:

We believe this is one the best TS on property!

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was calm, and the food was terrific.

I had the pasta and DH had the steak....SO GOOD!

Pretty please!!!

We have never eaten here but it is on my must do list for our may trip.

Question - We are staying at POR. What is our best way to get there? The DTD boat doesn't go to both resorts, right?

DS(14)'s favorite dish are the Lamb Chops (no mint) substitute yukon gold mashed potatoes, he's not a [polenta kind of guy! I've had the prime rib several times, cooked med/rare to my liking, comes with the same mash and the lovely brazed greens! My friend had tuna but I don't think it's on the menu anymore!

and if you love mushrooms & spinach, do not pass on that appetizer, it's simply delish! The tomato bisque is really good too!
