Had lunch in the new Turf Club last week. It was very good. Restaurant seats 88 and is finished in Maghognay Wood with one wall covered in mirrors to give the impression of space.
The steak I had was lovely especialy the wine sauce it was cooked in. The staff were friendly and efficient and very talkitive. Menu is a bit limited with no soups other than for children. I have a few photos which I will upload later today to www.clubphoto.com search for alias Kylieni

Thanks for the info, we are going to eat there in early August.

Thank you Paul for that information. We arrive Saturday and any information you can give me about the restaurant will be appreciated. Like for instance, did you have to make a ADR for your lunch? What else was on the menu? Is breakfast offered? Questions, questions, questions!!! ;)

Thanks for sharing! I can't wait to try the "new" Turf Club! I really, really hope they kept the salmon blt for dinner.

I just ate at the Turf Club. It was a very nice quiet and relaxing lunch. They done have different menus for lunch and dinner. I dont think they do breakfast. They do have a kid's Menu. I had the cheese burger and it was nice b/c it is the only place on property where you can get an angus burger.
Amanda was our server, just was very quick but still had time to chit-chat.

Good to see that Disney is listening to its Members :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Cant wait to try the burger, but, Ill have to , wont be back till Nov. Everyone dont eat them all. :cool1:

I'm calling MS this morning to see if I can get a ADR for next week sometime. I've got my fingers crossed!!! :thumbsup2

I don't think that will be a problem as the word is not out yet. The waiter did say they were experimenting with 3 menu's. The menu in the link above appears to be the same one we used

Just thoiught I'd give you all an update on the Turf Club. The word is getting out that's it's open. We just returned yesterday after a wonderful week at WDW and we ate at the Turf Club two times. The first time was last Sunday evening. DH and I both had the steaks and they were very, very good. Cooked just the way we wanted. The staff is very attentive and it looked like there were only 2 servers and they were new. The host and hostess at the front was being trained and the upper manager (more experienced CM) was really pitching in and helping. There didn't seem to be alot of customers that evening; maybe another 3 families at the most.

Now Friday night was a different story all together. There were 4 servers and the place was very full. DH had the penne and chicken and I had the burger. Again the food is very good and the service excellent in my opinion. We had the dining plan so appetizers and desserts were included. Onion Rings were good; not greasy. Mini Crab Cakes very nice but the dipping sauces offered were just so so. Dessert: little individual apple pies (I'd call it more of a cobbler) with vanilla ice cream were our favorite. There was also cheese cake and a chocolate cake. There was talk one evening when I was there that soon, maybe sooner than we think the menu will be expanded. I hope so. I'd like to see a few more choices and possibily breakfast. But it was really a very nice experience and I'm glad to see that the word is out about the Turf Club.
