Turf Club a good idea for our last night??

We will be on the DDP for 7nights @ the CBR. Then we'll be off the DDP when we switch Resorts to POP for 2 nights. [we did a split stay b/c I have points for a free night from hotels.com & b/c I think my son will love the big icons] We'll be paying cash for the last few meals. I wanted a moderate price, but was having a hard time figuring out where we could get that & still try something new. I would have booked another Epcot meal but was not sure we'd def. want to go to Epcot. [most of our planned days are @ E & MK, we only planned 1 day for both AK & HS w/no hopper] The result? I went out on a limb & booked The Turf Club for our last WDW dinner. My husband is a big meat eater & I thought we'd get a chance to check out SSprings Resort. [that's my biggest draw to TC] So, what does everyone think? Have you eaten here & is this a good choice for our last night? Any pic of food & comments on what was good would be nice. Thanks everyone!!! [or should I switch it, say it if you think it was not awesome.]

We have eaten at Turf Club twice. For it's price range (or 1 credit on the DDP), I think Turf Club is one of the better choices. The service is a bit slow but the food is good. With the exception of Sanaa, I think it's the best 1 DDP credit restaurant at WDW, and I've eaten at almost every one of them.

Thanks! I did check out the menu @ Sanaa & it looks interesting except me & my DH don't like curry. Oh well.

I actually love sitting outside near the water there for dinner. I think the food is good.. and I am picky. My steak there was great.. the French Onion soup was awesome.. and I really liked the dark wood decor.. Hope that helps.. For what it's worth, I have 2 ADR's there this next trip in a week

We love the Turf Club! The food is delicious, yes service can be slower but we like taking a break from the craziness and enjoying this restaurant. Enjoy it then take a nice walk around. You can always hop on the boat to DTD afterward if you want also.

That's not a great idea, it's an "excellent" one! We love the Turf CLub, one of the best and affordable resort restaurants.

DS( 15 today) absolutely loves the Rack of Lamb, w/out mint, substitute the polenta for Yukons! I've had the Prime Rib (med, perfectly cooked) , a tuna special (I don't think it's reg. on the menu) and the Pork Chop, really moist. Our veg. friend loves the salmon. I've longed to try the stuffed mushroom appetizer, maybe next trip!
