sand, why does Intuit now suggest the deluxe version if you own a home, even though I see the basic version has the itemized deductions form? I also thought the basic edition was around $20 last year & now $29![]()
hmm...I am looking and I don't see where it says it has the deduction finder. Can you tell me where you see that? Sorry I don't work in the TTAX division so I am a little rusty on some of this stuff.
I also can't really talk to the price increase, I am not sure what went into that decision. It also depends where you purchase it, retailers usually offer a rebate. Often the direct price is lower than retail since we don't offer a rebate (please don't take this as gospel, retailers can set their own price we do not control that). I see the online Basic edition offered direct for $14.95 on our website.
