Hey there Disney lovers....

I have been asking many questions scattered all across the boards. I thought that I would make just one thread and go from there. That'll make it simple and definately easy for me to keep up with :)

So to brief everyone, I have not been to WDW since 1994. This was on a school trip on a show choir competition, so there honestly wasn't too much time for fun & games.

Now, 15 years later (crap...it's been that long) with a DW and 2DD (7 and 5) and 1DS (3), we're heading down that way in March. This will be the first vacation my wife and i Have been on since our honeymoom (1997) and my kids have never been on one. This is long overdue!

Praise God, I do have a hookup and I'm able to get 18 park hopper passes free from a buddy of mine...this takes care of 3 days out of the 4 that we'll be there. So, this cost won't be an issue. As I work for a hotel, I have an awesome discount program that I'm utilizing....(5 nights for $275). Whew! We're not loaded financially, so I'm trying to get a lot of things done in the time that we're there, but being money concious at the same time. Any tips? lol

Here is how I'm starting to plan our trip. We will be spending 4 days at Disney itself. I originally thought that we would do 2 parks for the 4 days. We would go to the park in the morning, head back to hotel about 2, rest up and go back at 5. This will give time for the parents and kids to wind down a bit. But with more and more research, there's so much more we(I) want to do. I'm now thinking of doing 1 park per day, MK, EP, AK, and HS. Is this too much? I have read through threads and seen where a family can spend 3 days at MK, go home and be extremely happy. There's so much I want to see, but I do know that the kids will probably tire fast and don't want to overdo it, for them or my DW and myself.

Suggestions on how I should handle this little perdicament? What would be the best scenario, 4 days, 4 parks or the orginal 4 days, 2 parks?

Ok. First question had no responses. Maybe someone might have some optinions on this question. We were going to take snacks and stuff for the kids during the noon hours at the parks. I didn't know exactly how much to take. Any advice on this? Does anyone else do this ... Suggestions
DW and I were talking about just purchasing umbrella strollers for two of our kids versus renting. Should I just rent? Would it b easier?

Because you are going during a sort of "off" time as far as crowds go, I would say doing one park each day is doable.

As far as snacks go...no idea. It really depends on how much of a snack will hold your children over till the next meal.

Strollers. You can rent a double stroller in the parks. Theres lots of info on the Budget Boards regarding strollers. So, head over there and check out the info. I can't remember the rates off hand though...seems like singles rent for 15/day and doubles rent for like 31/day for a double. You can find more info on stroller rentals here.

Hope this helps.

We personally take our own strollers so we can use them outside of the park to get to the car or use around the resorts. Carrying a sleepy child from MK to the car is just too much for me. Plus it's cheaper than renting. If you don't want to buy and don't want to rent, you could try to get in on a stroller swap on the budget board.
