Tulips on Ice

Found this picture and thought I'd share.

Tulips force their way through a blanket of ice and snow at Hershey Gardens, Tuesday, April 8, 2003, in Hershey, Pa.. Temperatures hovered around 35 degrees today as Hershey Gardens' 30,000 tulips tried to bloom.

Oh...that really takes my breath away...just beautiful.

That's what mine looked like earlier this week except there are no blooms yet. I was really worried that they wouldn't survive but they are still growing. In fact the moisture from the snow/ice has appeared to really make them sprout!!!! Can't wait till they bloom!!!

To me, they look like a vendor's cart. Instead of bottled water or Power-Ade, you've got tulips.
