I'm debating between two itineraries that work with our other travel plans, and I have two options - our main park day being Tuesday, July 16 or Friday, July 19.

The Friday works better overall because:
  • It fits better with our general travel plan in the area
  • Since right now booking the package on the UK site gives us a better deal to get 2 nights/3 days rather than just book hotel separately and get 1 day, we would have a better chance of sneaking on a second partial day.
  • It's at the end of our trip (we're flying home on the Sunday, so we won't be coming into Paris, leaving again for a few days to go to Mt. St Michel, and then coming back to fly out).

But Friday/Saturday make me nervous. Are they ridiculously busy? That's why I had planned on the Tuesday originally. Also, is it better to call or book online? We are Canadians, but the UK site looks like the best option for us price wise. We're staying onsite.

Any thoughts people have would be greatly appreciated. Merci! :goodvibes

Won't make much difference which of the two you choose tbh. The summer season kicks off for the busiest month from the 14/7, - Fete Nat through to the 15/8 which is Assomption, (give or take a few days)

You might even find it easier on the Friday as lots of people will be taking a couple of days after the 14th

Can't help you with the rest but I'm sure someone will be along in a bit :goodvibes

Thank you for this! I hadn't thought about people taking an extra couple days after the holiday, I was just thinking about the holiday! Friday it is.

From other threads I gather that you only have to put down a deposit when you phone vs. book online... so perhaps that's a better route....?

Question: I'll be there from July 6 through July 10. How are the crowds then? Will I miss the "busy" season?
