We are staying at the Beach Club in August. I know that tubes and/or noodles are available for rental. Does anyone know how much they cost? Is there any kind of length-of-stay rental (sort of like the Captain's Plan at Port Orleans)? One last thing...I think guests can bring their own, but the tubes have to be clear. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks in advance,
agnes!

The innertubes are $3 an hour to rent. You can rent them for the day ($10, I think). There were some people with noodles brought from home.

You can definitely bring your own tubes. We just returned from the BC. We got ours at WalMart and brought them with us. We saw many others who did the same thing! Have a great trip. We loved it! :)

We bought a couple of noodles at the shop next to the pool and brought them home. (not sure on the price, but not too much- maybe $4?) I'm planning on packing them again for August. Also- we bring our own goggles/masks because my kids love those! :earsboy:

Were those the clear pink and green etc? I saw those but the 30 inch ones I know I wouldn't fit in. Did you see any mats? I picked up the clear version of those at Walmart. Someone posted that they had clear ones at Kmart that were bigger but I went to our Kmart and none to be found. I would love to know if those are allowed or not. Thanks!

I read somewhere that the tubes had to be clear. Is that really true in practice? I mean, if you show up with a solidly-colored tube will the pool personnel *not* let you use it in the lazy river?
I'm thinking that we will either pack some deflated tubes or buy some after we get to Orlando. I started thinking that noodles might take up too much precious souvenir room in our luggage ;) ...

Belle1111 - Thanks for the reminder @ goggles. My DD likes to wear swim-goggles, maybe now I'll remember to make sure that they get packed!

I bought 2 noodles last year and just left them at BC the end of the week, so some other guest good use them. Wasn't worth carrying them home to Jersey on the plane for what they cost.

Found this link on another thread...good info so I'm posting it here as well.

Thanks to everyone who posted about Stormalong Bay & tubes, etc. It was all very helpful :flower: .
I'm going to keep on the shopping-lookout around here for adult-sized tubes for SAB's lazy river.

puggymom - I like your idea @ leaving noodles - that's sort of like the stroller swap :teeth: (which I personally thnk is one of the more brilliant ideas I've ever seen on the DIS).

We have inflatable noodles that I bought about 4 or 5 years ago at K-Mart. They are made from the same material as a raft. They are stamped- Aqua Bendy and are so easy to pack. I have looked every year to buy more, but I have never seen them again. There is no manufacturer or city listed on it. Anyone know about this product?
