TTMM and Preferred seating ?'s

Hi! Well we just got our travel docs for Thanksgiving! I have a couple of questions...

We are deciding whether or not to go to TTMM. We want to ride Go Coaster and Roger, not sure if this is a good time for it? (I know we can FP Roger at any time). My kids aren't too into characters... they may slightly enjoy the little opening show, and maybe we'll take one character pic, but honestly we could sort of care less. Should I just try for Go Coaster on a different day?

We got the Disney Visa package and we get preferred seating for the DL parade... it says it's over by Small World and to arrive 45 min. prior. Is this worth it? Is it just a roped off area or something? Is there something special that I'm missing?

Also, we can get preferred seating for Animation, ITTBAB and Muppets in DCA. What is this all about?

I'm guessing that none of these are really exciting perks, but if they are good (esp. over the crazy TG weekend) I want to make sure and take advantage of them.

Thanks!!
Kim :)

We save our Ttown time until TTMM because there are not many people there. The gate opens right at 9:00 (if the park opens at 8:00) The "Show" doesn't start until 9:15. If you get there right when the gate opens you could walk right on Roger Rabbit, grab a fast pass and do the Go Go gadget and still make the show. It's only about 5 minutes long. We then go straight over to Mickey's for the family shot, walk through because it is cool, walk through Minnies because there are some cool things (especially in the kitchen) and Minnie is usually in there somewhere. Make sure to check out the mailboxes and the jail. Pick up the telephone by the mailboxes. Your youngest will like it. We then ride Roger Rabbit again and head out. We do all of that in less than 1 hour and look forward to it every trip.

The other vouchers for DCA may or may not be needed during your trip. ITTBAB shouldn't be too crowded. But if you get there and find that the line is long and the theater may be crowded, pull out the voucher

Check the line. If it's short, you definitely should ride the coaster. The problem is that the ride is soooo short and the line takes forever. So if you get in early enough to have noline, then you should ride it over and over and over again. Then go ride Matterhorn :-)

I personally wouldn't use MTTMM for the rides, at least not until you're done with meeting characters (and I'm NOT a character person, but DS is!). To me if TT is only about the rides for your fam, I'd just go early on a non-MTTMM day and ride Gadget then, get a FP for RR any old time, and give up the MTTMM vouchers to whomever is next on the list for the big long thread all about "does anyone have vouchers for MTTMM they aren't using"! :upsidedow

(and no I'm not on that list, LOL)
