TTC to MK gate travel time

We will be attending MNSSHP this October and want to get to the MK gate right at 4pm.

Does anyone know how much time we should plan for getting from our car to the MK gate via monorail? I'm guessing it will be busy with party guests making their way in, no? We've only ever arrived via bus or monorail (from resorts); this is our first time using the main parking lot/TTC.

1. There have been many instances when they have started letting in party guests at 3:45PM, or so.
2. That can take anywhere between 20-40 minutes (or more,) depending on many unknown, unpredictable factors.
3. Yes.

Better to allow more time than you think.
It's always better to be early.

We have been to the parties two times. Both times they let us in at 4:00. However, if Robo says 3:45 has happened . .. then I would plan on being there by 3:45 just in case.

I always allow an hour to get from TTC to MK. It seldom takes that long, but I like to leave a little wiggle room.

I would expect TTC to be busy, but maybe not quite like first thing in the morning busy.

I haven't done the party, so I don't know about that end of things. But we always stay offsite, so we've done the TTC to MK thing dozens and dozens of times. I'll go on the lower end of that scale Robo posted and say it's about 20 minutes from the TTC until you hit the tap point. Sure, if something weird happens, it can be longer, but it's usually about 20 minutes, maybe 15 on perfect timing.

My experience is usually around 20 minutes, 30 tops and what I would plan for. There can always been unforeseen exceptions, but not often enough to excessively pad your planning time, IMO.

Is this from parking your car to the gate or from the TTC to the gate or even from the toll booths to the front gate?

From parking booths (once you've passed them, I'm not accounted for any parking booth line up because I've never been in one when I'm there). to gate (including security). I travel at moderate to light crowd times and I should add that I did not drive to TTC on my trip last month because I was staying at CR, so I'm not sure if the move of security to TTC from the MK front gate has any impact. I don't imagine it should, if anything that should be a shorter wait since those entering from MK resorts and buses have separate check points.
