TTC to MK for rope drop - what time to arrive?

Hi

I know this question has been asked before but can't find a recent answer.

We have 2 PPO reservations (8 am) and one day we'd like to be there a few minutes before 8 so we can be among the first in the park and try to get some pictures before it's too crowded. What time should we arrive at the TTC? Any recent reports on how long it's taking to get to the park? I know the monorail isn't always running. In that case, is the only option the ferry?

We're coming from off-site.

There isn't a better place to park, right? I wouldn't mind using the valet at the Contemporary and walking, but I understand that's not necessarily allowed (we have no meals there or anything) and I wouldn't want to risk a delay.

MK opens Main St. to all guests between 7:45 and 8:00AM.
The rope drop show now takes place on the castle stage about 8:55AM
at which time all guests in the hub are admitted to the rest of MK.

Sorry, I should clarify. We will be entering the parks when they let the breakfast reservations in 2 of the 3 days, so we need to be there before 8. On the third day, we would like to be there a bit before 8 so we can get into the park when they start letting people on Main Street. I've read it's not horribly crowded right at the beginning, so I'd like to try to let the PPO breakfast people by and then get some pictures before it gets busier. I know that we won't be let in only with the PPO breakfasts anymore.

I still need to be at the gates before 8 am though and am wondering about travel time and options from the TTC.

Since there is no way for you to know how long everything will take you, plan on being at the TTC by 7:00-ish.
Then, if you encounter delays, you can still be on time at MK.
These days, that early you may likely have to take a BUS from TTC to MK.

I think I'd prefer a bus to the ferry anyway So much for rest on vacation.......although if I wanted that I wouldn't be going to Disney!

when I go for a day trip I like to get to the TTC by 7 -715

and from what I have seen they only let ADR in about 5-10 minutes before 8
