They called! She is "Blossoming"! Big sigh! She is going in tomorrow for another US and her estrogen is rising too. RN Deb said she thought that she would go either Monday or Tuesday for her ovedral shot! I am going to stay doing what I am doing. One thing she did say though was that we could still do the horizontal slide BUT we needed to wear protection! Ha Ha ! That's almost a joke! But heck I guess stranger things have happened right?

Oh well, off to the drug store for the first time in. . . shoot I don't know when

Afternoon!

OK so we're movin right along here! Looks like our donor is going in on Monday for her retreival and I will go in on Thursday for the transfer. I have to stop the lupron, continue the estrogen and start the projesterone. We have a friend who had to give the shots to his wife so Mike said he would call him to come over. Shoot, I figure everyone else is getting a look at my well nether regions, can't really call them privates cause everyone's seen em, I really don't care if our friend Tony see my white a$$ at this point! Crudballs! I'm not sure whether to dance or throw up!

Also estrogen. . . yeah no longer my friend when it comes to eating or drinking. I had 1 and a 1/2 beers last night, a crab cake and a cup of chowder. Barely finished the chowder. I was in bed by 9:30 PM Not a strong appitite for food at all. Meg's mom just droppend tamalies to the house so I'm going to try one of those and see how i do.

On the funny side, givin that alot of attention is going to be given to my nether region next week I went to my waxing ladies this am for a manicure Holy Canaries! I'm usually a Jesus, Mary and Joseph yeller! Today it was more %$#$&@!!!!!!!! Talk about meds making you super sensitive AND now I have welts! Norma was looking at me and said, Damn girl your skin has NEVER reacted that way!

So I just pinched my butt in anticipation of the prep for tonight. Ummm IT'S NOT A NICE FEELING AT ALL!!!! Shoot. . . Mike's laugh is becoming a little to psycho not sure I'm going to let him near my butt he's have way to much fun with the anticipation!

I watched a utube video on how to do these. Anyone know of a good one to watch so Mike doesn't hit my sciatic nerve and paralize me!

Good Luck E! I am sending you tons of good vibes your way. I am so excited for you

I go to the Dr on Thurs for an ultrasound and blood work. This is the beginning of my First IVF cycle. I am so freakin nervous. I will be starting meds real soon ( possibly on Thursday). The few I know I will be on so far is Lupron, Follistim and projesterone and will find out the rest on Thursday. The anxiety and nerves are setting in lol

Yahoo! First shot down! Mike and I watched the utube videos again and then prepared it together. Then we fought over who was going to shot me! It's a control thing! So we settled on he pinched my but and i put the needle in. Peace of Cake! It went in very easy AND I'm still walking so we didn't hurt anything. The scariest part was the size of the needle but honestly they are so thin that you don't feel it so for future reference don't be intimidated!

I'm now in my sweats but he wants to go have a drink so I'm going to pull one for the team, get my jeans on and hit a nearby pub for a bit. Not to long cause I'm tired and honestly i'm sure half the battle was the anticipation of tonight
