Home sick today and catching up on the DIS :goodvibes

Esbrick! Crossing everything for you and hoping Santa grants your Christmas wish!!

Tinytreasures- that is just precious! I hope Avy gets a magical wish trip :wizard:

Uggg sorry you are sickly:sick: Thanks for the good wishes. I'm all nervous cause my cycle started on Saturday and I started my BCP's on Saturday and now AF has gone into hiding! CRAZY! I have a strange feeling she's going to show up with a vengence next week cause that's the way my stuff goes:rolleyes:

Last night I arranged for us to have Christmas Eve at my SIL's house instead of ours!:woohoo: Not sure if I told you but Mike and I are flying out on a 6am flight on Christmas morning to see my folks in NY. They think we are arriving on Sunday not Saturday so I am looking foward to surprising them:thumbsup2! We need to come back on Tuesday night because I have my US on Wednesday at 7AM! Sheesh! I'm just glad we were able to pull it off though!

fingers crossed for you Eilis :wizard:

we got exciting news today Avy was approved for her make a wish
her is what she wished for

Kronks - Sorry you are sick. And its not even a "good" sick if you know what I mean.

E - Have a wonderful & safe trip to NY.

feels like EVERYONE is sick. Yesterday I was 'swallowing razor blades'. Today thankfully just a few bits of glass ;)

Went to the dr and got a shot & a z-pack and I'm already getting better.

Tomorrow's DH's grandpa's funeral finally and I hope there are NO MORE for a LOOOOONG time.

thanks so much!

it really doesn't help that I cried myself to sleep yesterday after DH made me feel totally worthless...all starting from me leaving my soup bowl on the counter after he cleaned it while I was at the dr. I wouldn't normally do that but I felt like crap and there was meat thawing in the sink and clean dishes on the other side.

I hear it all the time, that a lot of men just can't admit to their OWN wrongdoings, which I so meaningfully pointed out to him when he started to yell at me like a child for ONE BOWL. But him leaving clothes all over the floor after I JUST picked allll of them up...that's not the same, noooo. Or leaving urine in the toilet after I just finished scrubbing the toilet bowl (yeah I know, gross...why do men sometimes forget to flush??)....of course, that's not disrespectful at ALLLLL right? He then tried to divert it to everything else I didn't do, like taking out the trash--which he had just pulled the empty can back from the road. And I got home at 7 pm after the AfterHours clinic & Walgreens, and just wanted to shower and eat and go to bed.

Why can he see no wrong in himself?? And why must he kick me when I'm down?

Oooo i am so down with that! I will go on record right now that I am not the best house keeper in the world! HOWEVER my hubby only see that he washes the floor and does the bathrooms on occasion! It's me that does everything else which basically means I clean up after him. He does not know how to put things back once he uses them. We have the same arguments so you are not alone:hug: It always seems to happen when you are at your lowest tooo  Stay strong sister! You are not alone!

thank you!! I seriously think of calling a marriage counselor every time he blows up at me like this, or when I've just had enough and start on him about this stuff. (only once in a blue moon do I start an argument and its when I'm SOO fed up with picking up after the SAME THINGS over and over and over again...but either way he twists it so its MY FAULT every single time)

I need a professional, someone to shake him and say, "YES, it IS disrespectful to throw your clothes on the floor over and over again, after your wife just picked up everything else!! YOU are in the wrong too!" Although he probably wouldn't listen to them either!

 sorry he is acting so disrespectful, that's terrible. :guilty:

OMGoodness the wait sux! It's easy to say this but don't get to ahead of yourself. Our bodies are so fickle and they do not always cooperate when we want them to! ;) You may want to call your doctor not for anything but peace of mind. Maybe they will be able to reassure you or atleast give you a plan if things don't start soon. It's scarey but if you have some sort of plan, most here will agree, it's better than not knowing what's going to happen next.:goodvibes

I did call my doctor the other day, she told me if i didn't get AF by the end of this month to make an appointment but hopefully it is just my body regulating.... I'm hoping!!!

We asked my father in law (who never wants ANYTHING) what he wanted for christmas the other day.... he said a Grandbaby  NOT HELPFUL!!!!

What a flippen COLD weekend! Sheesh! We worked on Meghan's science project this weekend and one of the variables was blowing up bubbles in the cold and seeing how long they lasted. I can tell you, bubbles last the LONGEST in the cold! We had a bubble that lasted for 18 mins and 6 seconds! Sheesh!:goodvibes

Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary so it also marks 2 years TTC. Kind of a bitter sweet day for me considering I am so lucky to have a great partner, but I feel like poop because of all the stuff we found out this year:upsidedow I'm just having a pity party! All will be done soon:flower3:

How's everyone doin? Rose and Cher r u both feeling better?

I was feeling really down last week and decided that I didn't want to wait until mid-January to get any feedback/recommendations from my DH's appointment. I took a chance and called an RE associated with the Cleveland Clinic fertility center, and managed to get an appointment for this Thursday! I actually could have gotten in last week, but I was at a client's office all week.

So now I'm really nervous, but am excited to get the ball rolling on my tests and such. I'm hoping all goes well on my end so we only have to deal with my DH's issues.

Good Luck Jenm!

Esbrick - I so hear what you are saying about the pity party - this Christmas marks the 3rd in our quest of TTC. Although I think we are done. I am still coming to terms with it and wondering about IVF.

I have now developed a cough - this cold may just kill me yet! We are at home today (snow day!). IF this cough continues I may just have to go to the Dr.

Have a good week everyone!

Jenm that's great news! Way to take control and get the ball moveing! There is so little that we have control of when going through this that steps like these can only be positive! Best of luck and please know we are here for ya!:goodvibes

Thanks! I'm really nervous, but I need to feel like we're moving forward in some way. I think we've decided to see what the doctor says at our respective appointments, and then will decide on either IVF or adopting. Hopefully there will be some sort of resolution soon! :)

oh man, that sucks. Everyone is sick!

I wish I were at home today. It was a long weekend. I had a shot AND an entire z-pack and then I still lost my voice, and getting it back but sound like a man today. Stuffy too! ick!

And I totally hear what you're saying on Christmas. This Christmas/NYE marks 2 years TTC. I can't handle another one!!

Ooo honey sounds like you need a z-pack STAT! If you can't get to the dr you may want to see if your DH can bring you home some Zicam in pill form. You may be to far gone to stop anything but at least it will help you feel better sooner.

It is worth it to at least investigate IVF. Regret is so much more expensive emotionally. I'd rather spend the money, figure I have exhausted all options and go from there. I know, easier said than done and honestly, spending the money on something that has no guarantee gives me internal battles as well, but again, not trying everything would be tougher in the long run! :goodvibes

agreed on ALL counts

count me as one of the sick people. Allergies. I can't get the blood test for the RE now cause if I did, my sugar would be higher than a cat's back. :headache:

Good news though....hubby's sa test came in....all normal!!!!

Next week, Ken and I get new glasses. (Hopefully, I will feel better by then. My eyes are so watery) I'm getting the kewl retro plastic ones.
