We have a Fleetwood Terry Quantum TT. I had some repairs performed for a leak in the roof about 6 months ago. The last time we took it out - some of the speakers in the TT worked - some did not. I am going away this weekend to Rally Park @ Lazydays. Does anyone out there know how to "Trouble Shoot" this problem to repair? Do you think that maybe something happened to the wires during the roof repairs? The only set that works right now is in the master bed area - no where else in the camper? :confused3

I would suspect the repair person either cut the wires by accident or left something disconnected. If you want to spend time yourself troubleshooting, you need to determine if there is output at the stereo, if so, is there output at the speakers (using another speaker. If not, something is cut/disconnected between the stereo and the speaker.

I would take it back to the repair person.

Thanks - I have called him 3 times now - he said he did not think that that could have happened from repairing the roof???

How to test the speakers and wiring from the back of the receiver/radio head.
unhook 1 speaker at a time from radio head, hook wires going to speaker to a 9volt battery the speaker should hiss if it does not you have a open/cut wire or a bad speaker. If it does hiss the problem is in the radio head. To test the speaker bypassing the wires between the radio and speaker. Remove the speaker and test speaker again with the 9volt battery this time hook battery directly to the speaker if hiss is there now the wires between radio and speaker are open/cut.

They always say that. I guess it would depend on what was done to the roof. If they just patched a hole in the rubber, then most likely the speaker problem is unrelated. If they had to tear up part of the roof, there is a much better chance the speaker problem is related to the roof repair, since the speaker wires run in the roof of the trailer.
