Arrived last night and went to the gift shop to get my tsum tsum collecting daughter the Hawaiian tsum tsums. SOOOO bummed to find out that they don't sell them here! Only at the Disney store here on the island. But without a rental car looks like we are stuck without them :( just wanted to give everyone who collects them a heads up so you can forego that mom guilt, lol. I wish I hadn't told her they had Hawaiian ones!

No :( I think my only hope would be if someone was here now and planning on going to the store maybe I could meet up with them and give them money to grab us some. I'm here until Saturday if anyone is going!

Aw, yeah :guilty: - we discovered that as well when we were there last week. Only at the Ala Moana Mall. Our disappointment was somewhat offset by the fact that the Haunted Mansion ones came in stock while we were there so DD was able to pick those up. We had a car but had already done Waikiki at that point so no going back for the mall. Hope you can find someone to help!:goodvibes

Do they sell regular tsum tsums at Aulani? Or none at all? I don't think my boys will care if they are the Hawaiian ones or not. They just love tsum tsums.

Yes, the have others. While we were there last week we picked up Haunted Mansion, a couple of Pirates of the Caribbean and Rapunzel. They had others too, off the top of my head I think some Marvel, can't remember what else.

Yes, they have tsum tsum, and the week we were there they switched them up part way through the week. They had Duffy, and I really should have gotten him when I saw him, because they were all gone the next day.

Did they have Shellie May? Also how out of the way is the mall if we are in "town" on our Pearl Harbor day or on way to/from airport? Thanks!

I was buying the Haunted mansion set and someone came in asking about the "Aulani" ones, the cast member said to them there are no specific Tsum made for Aulani, but if you go the Disney store in Hawaii they sell Hawaii style Tsum.

I don't even know what a tsum is. Guess it's time for a Google search

I bet you do know what they are and did not even know it. My 13 year old daughter collects the plush ones and my 5 year granddaughter loves them as well. Some of them are really cute. Others, not so much. We would love a Hawaiian one. Where is this Disney store at?

From Yelp...it seems Tuesdays is Tsum Tsum tuesdays so there can be lines ups as this is when the new ones come onto the floor but I cant see how this could be every Tuesday...this image is from yelp too

Tsum Tsum Tuesday happens in every Disney Store, every 2 weeks (used to be monthly). They release the limited edition ones on that day, which was Jungle Book this week. I assume all stores will have the same limited edition ones on that day. I think the Hawaii Disney store has the special Hawaiian ones, but I hope that they have them all the time. As I understand it, and I could be wrong, the Tuesday releases are the same ones that get released Tuesday in the state-side stores (and online). My girls are big tsum tsum fans, so I am trying to decide it the mall is worth a stop just for that. If we head there and they don't have the Hawaii ones, we will be sad. Anyone been to the mall store recently and can report back?? UGH.

We were just at Aulani earlier this morning to pick up something else (Mickey Mouse shaped chocolate dipped shortbread cookies - YUM!), and we saw lots of tsum tsums in the gift shop. I'm not a collector of tsum tsums, so I have no clue if any are exclusive to Aulani, but they were available.

As for the Disney store at Ala Moana, I'm pretty sure they usually carry the Hawaii exclusive tsum tsums, but it is very possible that they may be out of stock. It would probably be best that you call the store to find out, before you head out there. It could save you a wasted trip, unless you want to shop at many of the other stores at that mall. It is a huge mall, with lots of great shopping!

I know Aulani had some when we were there August 2014 but I thought maybe they decided to stop carrying them. This was where my kids first saw them and I remember them ooohhing and aahhhing over how cute they were. At the time, they were tucked over on the far right hand side of Kalepas store as you enter by all the stuffed Duffy Bears and Olafs

Your suggestion to call the mall store is a great one. I don't want to spend precious time getting to the mall just to leave empty-handed with sad kids... I think someone posted here that the resort carries only the regular tsums, and the Hawaii-specific tsums are only at the mall store. Why, Aulani?? Oh yes, so my kids can go to the entire Disney store and spend even more money!! :lmao:
