TSMM or Buzz Lightyear SpaceRanger Spin

We all have our favorites....which is yours?

I picked TSMM because I beat my ride-mates more often on that one! But Buzz is a tight contender since it's also fun and has a reasonable line

For me it's not even close. TSMM is, in my opinion, a far superior ride experience. The only negative thing about it is the line. The 3D visuals and special effects (air bursts) make it much more interactive and fun; by comparison Buzz feels kind of sterile and lifeless.

TSMM is my favorite by far, but I sure am jealous of the ones who have figured out how to become Galaxy Heroes on Buzz.

Easier to 'master' skills at TSMM, Buzz is far more random for points.

To answer my own ?:

I'm a Buzz guy.
At least its somewhat themed in the movie, it loads faster and 3D does nothing for me.
Plus I've scored the 999,999 before!

I prefer TSMM... it's more modern & fun and I like that each game is a bit different, has bonus targets, etc.

I still wouldn't pass up a ride on Buzz, though! Only once have I managed to become a Galaxy Hero (with tips from the internet) - maybe I need more practice.

I'm giving a slight edge to TSMM here. Ironically, the lines at California Adventure are never as bad as the lines in the Studios! Lines for Buzz seem to be pretty similar on both coasts.

I love TSMM but hate the lines. It is still my destination at rope drop and I ride later with a FP, but I wish I could ride like I do Buzz. Every trip, I go to MK twice and on the second day, I start at Buzz and can ride Buzz at least 4 or 5 times, with no wait, before the line starts to build.

I didn't even have to think about it lol... TSMM! I never go rushing to get on Buzz and that is because I can't even figure out what I am shooting at. The red dot is horrible and so faded. They need to do something with that part of the ride since it is the whole point of it.

I think as a family we like Buzz better. We can all see each other, compete, try for the 999,999 score (my DD13 has gotten it twice and me once.)

We love TSMM but now with the new FP system we just can't really ride it much. Once at RP and mother FP later. We love going on Buzz over and over again at MK EMH and trying to best our scores.

I like both but I have to say I'd pick TSMM over Buzz because aiming is so much easier. The only downfall of TSMM is that my arm hurts a lot after.

I voted for Buzz, besides the shorter lines I like the ride itself more.

Buzz feels like you are inside a video game with all the targets and theming actually in the ride. TSMM almost feels to me like you are playing a video game with all of the shooting of targets taking place on the screen.

TSMM I never get competitive on Buzz but as soon as we get to TSMM I want to win. Definialty became a new favorite after last years holiday

I vote Buzz too. I know I'm the odd person out here, but I really don't get TSMM. I've ridden it twice and am just not a fan. I don't even bother trying to get FPs for it anymore. But, my DS2 loves Buzz, so we FP that every.single.time.

I haven't been on Buzz in a while, but I love TSMM! It is one of my favorites, definitely at HS. I love theme theme of the ride and all of the toys in the line! So fun!

I echo what others have said: Love TSMM but the waits are prohibitive, so we only get one ride/day. Last trip, my family headed to Buzz right after Space at rope drop and rode 5 times back-to-back, which the kids thought was a hoot!

TSM by far! I enjoy the other but the lighting hurts my eyes and it's not quite as varied of an experience as TSM.

I don't even get buzz. I don't see the red dots very well, can't figure out what I'm trying to do.
