So - DH and I have never been on TSM. The ride open the DAY AFTER WE LEFT last time  and while in the park we just missed an opportunity for a chance to ride during the "test" phase.

My sister has told me we absolutely must ride it this time. Our current plan has us in DHS two different evenings. We don't plan on being there any morning for FP.

My question is if we are there on an evening with EMH - will we be able to catch it then with a shorter line? I don't expect to be able to walk on - but I also would hate to waste 1 hour of our 3 EMH waiting in line......

OR - should we try to catch DHS one morning during morning EMH to catch it?

I will not miss this ride this trip!! :lmao:

I have the same question :)

Also ... (sorry to hijack your post)
Is the line shorter during Fantasmic at all?

Honestly, it depends what time of the year you are going. I would just ride it during the EMH morning. You would probably even have time to ride and head over to your park of the day before Rope Drop.

Personally I would try to go on during AM Extra Magic Hour because if your at Hollywood Studios when they open during that time, you should be able to go right on with a minimal wait and maybe even get Fast Passes to go on a second time, if they are not all gone by the time you are finished.

Not to be off the subject OP but this is the first time I've seen a Diser on these boards thats a neighbor. I grew up in McCordsville and kids currently attend MV schools. It's a small world after all! lol:yay:

Here's a tip: If you are there during evening EMH you can hop in line 5-10 minutes before the posted park closing time. They will let everyone in line ride, no matter how long it takes.

Now, because they kind of like to discourage a ton of folks from doing this, they may post very long wait times at the end of the day, even though the actual wait might be 10-20 minutes.

This is true for every park, not just the Studios.

Too funny! DH and I just moved from Carmel in May. I am loving the traffic!......or non traffic! ;)

Ah Ha - I love park secrets.....:dance3:

In our experience with EMH at DHS, the line for Toy Story didn't really start to shorten until maybe 2 hours into the EMH. Then it REALLY got short quickly. I guess most people just reached their limit for the day about that time.
