TSM and Frozen Fireworks

I know others have discussed this, and my experience may not be typical, but I can't suggest enough that folks try the strategy of getting in line for TSM at the end of the day and seeing how many times you can ride.

Here was our experience from Sunday, June 28:

We got in the standby line at 8:16. We waited in the standby line, rode and were back out front at 8:43.

The TSM line is supposed to close at 8:45 because of the Frozen Fireworks.

We got in line again, rode again, and were back out front at 9:01.

At that point the cast members vocally said to us, "Do you want to ride again?" We said, "Sure." Even thought it was supposedly closed, because they knew we could ride and get out by 9:30, they were keeping the line open.

So we got back in the standby line and rode again and were out front again at 9:15.

My wife used the restroom, and then we walked over to the Frozen area. We were at the way back of the front stage area, (but in front of HS's main street.)

Then we watched the Frozen Fireworks at 9:30.

Then we walked down to the amphitheater and saw the 10:30pm Fantasmic which had two completely empty sections on both ends.

You might not have as much luck as us, but if you absolutely don't have to have a perfect view of the stage for the Frozen Fireworks, I highly recommend jumping in the TSM line late in the day (even if it has an 80 minute line) and just seeing how many times you can get on before they shut it down for the night.

We found the same situation in early June during a Star Wars weekend. Midway Mania can stay open past the published closing time as long as the area can be completely cleared before the fireworks start. No matter what time the sign out front says, the line is still open until the chain goes up.

I don't know about you, but my trigger hand gets really tired after 3 or 4 consecutive rides.
