With the new era of FP+ bring ushered in, I am wondering how the lines are for TSM when the park opens. Is there still the mad dash to ride? How is the wait time first thing in the morning? I ask because we have FP for RnRC at 9:40-10:40. I'm wondering if it's worth our time to get there at park opening to try to ride. I definitely don't want to miss our FP+. We will be there June 11-18. TIA!

Mad dash is a bit less. Standby lines are still 70-90 min w/in an hour of park opening.

I think you should have plenty of time to make you FP+ for RnRC if you arrive at park opening.

Like Soarin', now that it has been around for a while its popularity is somewhat going down. Not to say that it isn't still a massive headliner for HS (it is), but a lot of people have done it already and are less willing to rush to it in the morning.

We were at Hollywood Studios today (arrived pre-rope drop around 8:30 AM) and like a lot of other families made a beeline for TSM when they let people in. We were probably the 20th family through our turnstile. We didn't run and managed to be in the TSM standby queue at 9:05 and we had finished the ride and were back out front at 9:25.

I expect that the crowds would be bigger in June, but you shouldn't have a problem making your FP+ window if you arrive at the park prior to rope drop.
