TSA rules? ID for kids (ages 10 and 14)

Would those who have recently traveled with kids post what they used for ID at the check in and security gates. We're traveling with some friends whose children have not flown for several years. SWA and TSA sites are vague about requirements.

They are NOT unaccompanied minors.

Children under 18 do not need ID to fly.
