I was approved for TSA pre-check and have added my KTN to my Delta ticket. I'm suddenly concerned because I think I gave my full name, including middle, on the pre-check application. Do I need to also update my Delta SkyMiles account and ticket to include my middle name?

My license has my full name on it.

Yes you do. You will need to call to do this. I had to do this a few months ago as my Delta ticket only had my middle initial and my Pre-Check is my full name. Delta will then re-issue the ticket in the full name at no charge. I had to do this for both myself and my mother. It was actually pretty easy to do.

My son’s last name is hyphenated on passport and nexus (which gives us global entry and pre), but half the airlines we use don’t recognize hyphens. So his name is as wrong as having a middle initial vs full middle, and we haven’t had a problem at all.

You don’t add the ktn to your ticket. Add it to your delta skymiles account. When you checkin online it should pull from your account and attach to the boarding pass. If it doesn’t, redo online checkin and manually enter the ktn and it should work then. I don’t recall having to do that for delta (United, yes, repeatedly), but just in case...

This is true unless you're dealing with a ticket already booked when your TSA PreCheck is approved. In that case, you may have to add the number to each existing reservation, but once it's added to your Delta Skymiles account you should be good going forward for new tickets.

I think I've got everything squared away. I called and had the ticket reissued with my full middle name, matching TSA Pre-Check. I also added to KTN number to both the ticket and to the my Delta Skymiles account. Thanks all for your help!

Yes! My dh did global entry in July and I had 2 flights booked with him as SR-DS is the JR. He did his global entry minus the SR.

Our first flight was in August so he called and switched it and he thought they would switch our next flight for April (yes I have my tickets for April) but they didn’t. So I called and luckily they allowed me to make the switch/remove the SR and not him. They saw his global entry number and had no issues.

Sorry if it was you I just responded to on the other thread, but that wasn’t my experience when I had a booking before my ktn number came through.

I added it to my ff account and when time came to do online checkin it went just fine. No calling required.

I had to call Delta on mine and my Mom's. I had booked our tickets with our middle initials, but when we got precheck, we were told we needed to use full middle names. So I had to call to make that update for the reservations and add the KTN at that point too. It was really not too bad and a quick call both times with tickets then getting re-issued with the corrected names.

How early do folks get to MCO if they have pre-check? It’ll be my first time and don’t know how long I should budget.

My flight is at 4:30 on Monday, 9/10.

I think you are still picked up 3 hours ahead of your flight time, whether you have PreCheck or not. DH and I have had this happen the past few years, and we've had PreCheck a number of years.

Sorry, I should have specified! I was considering taking an Uber rather than Magical Express.

Ah! well MCO is about 45 mins from Disney, and you are supposed to get to airports in general 2 hours ahead of a domestic flight . Plan accordingly with that info and good luck!

Arriving at the airport 1.5 hours in advance with Pre-Check will still give you ample extra time. It takes about 30 minutes to be driven from WDW to MCO, so leaving WDW 2 hours prior to the flight will allow you to be relaxed and have plenty of time.

we have been on pre-check for over 3 yrs and I don't know why. We fly out of PHL and MCO
