TSA Luggage Locks

If your flying from the US to Europe it's best to use TSA locks, otherwsie airport security will just break the locks to them open if they want to search your bags airside.

In Europe all types of locks are used.

TSA luggage locks were a good idea until the master keys got copied. I perosnaly use both locks with keys and combination locks on my bags when traveling.

I personally don't bother with locks...

If somebody wants into my bag. they'll get in whether I've got a lock there or not - they could break the lock, the zip, whatever.

I prefer to just take my valuables (laptop, camera, portable games etc) in my hand luggage so I know where they are. That way, there's nothing of interest for people to remove from my case if they do choose to break in :thumbsup2

Neither do I. We've had a case opened and checked en route from France to England (we found a notice inside informing us this had been done). I work on the principle that no one will be interested in my clothes. :rotfl2:

I suppose do what you feel most comfortable with - I always use TSA locks - in Europe, Asia - wherever I go. I've never had any issues one way or the other.:)
