We have an ADR for the Coral Reef on 9/30, but I noticed they must have changed their menu recently, and it just isn't looking that appealing. (I have no idea what Lobster Seafood Boil is..can someone tell me if it is good? ) Anyway, 9/30 is the last night for illuminations so we would really like to stay in Epcot for dinner. Last year we tried Askershus and i thought the princesses were great for our daughter, but it was the worst meal of our trip. I also tried Nine Dragons in the past and did not enjoy that. What is your favorite TS in Epcot (we are on the dining plan)

Thanks :-)

We are going to Via Napoli in August. That gets a lot of love here but we haven't tried it yet.
Garden Grill if you want characters.
What kind of cuisine do you like? Mexican? German? Do you have a Hibachi Japanese restaurant where you are? There is one in Japan in Epcot that a lot of people like.

Yeah what are the parameters for recommendations? Picky eaters, non picky eaters? I've heard good things about Spice Road Table (it's on my list to try)

Also my best guess on a lobster seafood boil is that it's generally lobster/corn/other shellfish/sometimes sausages all prepared and served together

There are a lot of TS places I like in EP but none that I really love. My personal top 3:

--Chefs de France
--Rose and Crown
--Hacienda de San Angel

but I could name another 7-8 I've tried that would be just fine, too.

Rose and Crown is our favorites, especially if you can get outside seating (we haven't sat inside yet so not as sure about the atmosphere in there). Good food plus a great view over the lagoon.

My favorite is Via Napoli for the pizza. People will tell you that it isn't a "money's worth" choice. We tried Biergarten but the food wasn't very good.

If you want to stick with a place that has seafood, you can walk to BC and go to Cape May. Tutto Italia and Teppan Edo (at least you know it's freshly cooked!) have some seafood choices, along with steak and chicken. I think La Hacienda sounds good, if you like Mexican, and it gets better reviews than San Angel Inn.

I looove via napoli for both pasta and pizza! Delish!

Some others i love:
Chefs de France
Teppan Edo

Rose & Crown and Biergarten are also good/decent, but not "amazing" in my opinion.

For a character meal in Epcot, Garden Grill (Chip and Dale, Mickey). Family style, all you care to eat.

Otherwise, Chef De France and Spice Road Table. We have enjoyed both of these immensely. All of these are 1 table service credit.

We really like Spice Road as well as La Hacienda. Either restaurant in Italy is good too. We’re from NY and find we go to restaurants like the ones found in the Italy pavilion a lot when home.

Love Via Napoli. The Quattro Formaggi Pizza is spectacular.

Limoncello Mule too!

With all of the amazing choices around the WS, CR and GG would be at the very bottom of my list. I echo Via Napoli, which is always a great choice with children! Chefs de France and La Hacienda de San Angel are great, too.

Biergarten is our favorite (even kids. It is favorite in all of Disney). After that we like Akershus, Chefs de France, Teppan Edo. We didn’t like Via Napoli, but it is a favorite for many. The staff just has never been nice. My girls wanted to eat in the Donald ride this time meaning San Angel Inn in Mexico pyramid. We will see how it goes.
Have fun!

Nice to see the love for Chefs..... It has been on our radar for the last few trips and we are finally trying it in Sept.

Our favorites are Chefs of France & Tutto Italia. We like the food at Le Collier, but can’t always deal with the cramped tables.

I love Biergarten except for the desserts. They were disappointing. Head somewhere else for that - ideally France!
