what are the best table service meals in the magic kingdom covered by the DDP? we are looking for a place to eat the night that we get there and will probably be in the magic kingdom, but we are open to suggestions for a good restaurant covered by the DDP almost anywhere.

we were planning on eating at spoodles, but aren't quite sure that it will be our best option after the menu change.

thanks! :)

My favorite TS in MK is LTT. But I have heard good things about Crystal Palace. It would be an easy trip to the CR for Chef Mickeys or the Poly for 'Ohana.

Okay, this isn't at MK but it is close. :) The Concourse Steakhouse at the CR is awesome. We went there for the first time last week and were blown away. I even liked it better than Le Cellier! I had the buffalo filet (special that night) and my husband had the beef filet and loved it. In fact, the waitress noticed that his steak was a bit overcooked and had another out to the table within minutes. The scallops and butterfinger cheesecake are both really good also. We loved the DDP. It allowed us to try so many things without having to worry about cost. I don't think we'll have another trip to Disney without it! :)

I would recommend LTT too. Other than Tony's, it's the only TS we've had at MK (Haven't done CP or CRT yet).

If you don't mind taking the monorail, I'd like to put my 2 cents in for Kona. We really like Kona, and have always had a good meal there. Some trips we end up eating there twice. :goodvibes

We really enjoy the Crystal Palace. I am really picky about buffets but this one is very well staffed and maintained. You have a large variety of foods to choose from. Even our picky 9 year old son found something he liked. If you go, you've got to try the Fire Roasted Corn Spoon Bread. Yummy!

We also liked the Liberty Tree Tavern. The food is good ole' American food.

It depends...are you there with children? do you want a character meal or not? If you have kids I'd do dinner at the Crystal Palace. It's got a nice interior, great buffet and lots of character interaction with Pooh and Friends. If you want a nice dinner (no characters), I'd head over to the Polynesian and dine at Ohana's. The waiters bring around skewers of shrimp/steak/pork...it's fabulous!
