Hi. There are 14 of us going to Disney in December this year and we are thinking about doing the deluxe dining plan. I was looking at some of the TS places and wondering which ones would accommodate large groups of people?

For example, I know sci fi dine in you sit in a car. How many people per car? What about 50s Prime time? How many people can sit around a table or would we have to split up??

Thanks so much for any replies...

Is what you are asking whether they can take a large group at all, or whether they can put all 14 of you at one table?

Thanks. I am asking which restaurants can fit all 14 of us at one table for dinner or would most places ask us to split up into 2-3 different tables?

Like I know Teppan Edo only allows 8 people per chef? So obviously there we would need to split up. I am trying to come up with a list of places where all 14 of us could sit at the same table together.

Thanks!

I think that at most places when you make your adrs they will ask if they can or tell you they have to split you up.Once at the restaurants podium, you can ask to be seated with each other or as close as possible. They usually try to keep lrg groups together.

How about O'Hanas. We had six last year at a round table, and don't flame me, but we are a family of four and now we want to add two more (I know, I know, again, don't flame me), but are all of the tables round or long for at least 6 people? I don't remember. BTW, I know this has been done before because we added my parents last year at a few restaurants without any problem.

Spoodles had a couple very large tables plus I saw them pull some 4 tops together to extend one of them for a convention group.

I just completed all the ADRs for a group of 13 for a 9 night stay. All the restaurants needed to break the group up into at least 2 tables. A couple of places needed to break them into 3 tables.

I booked the common places such as: LLT, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Rainforest Cafe (AK location direct with restuarant), Le Cellier, Mama Melrose's, 1900 Park Fare, and a few others.

We had a party of 13 at Chef Mickey's and were all seated together :). I did, however, call right at the 180 day mark to make the ADR and I also took the first seating at 5:00 when the restaurant opened....so I don't know if that had any bearing on the outcome or not :confused3. But even if you're reserved for more than 1 table, I think they do everything they can to seat everybody together ;).

I know Narcoossee can and you have to call the restaurant directly. We also had a large group at Grand Floridian Cafe.
I think chef Mickey can get you prett close together. It is seperate tables but our group of 10 has always been in one big row. We did the Clam bake at the Yatch club and we were all seated together and Kona we were in the same stretch together.

I know Coral Reef can on do groups of 8 at a time. Le cellier is a nightmare with a large group because it is so small down there and instead of holding your tables to push them together they seated us either 4 or 6 at a time. Others have to be split.

We also chose the 5pm seating and called on the 180 day mark.

Biergarten in Epcot. They have a lot of long tables where they sit multiple parties. We did 10 there, and I'm pretty sure they seated another party of six with us.

I would ask if you all really need to be at the same table. If you can be split up, it will make your life a lot easier.

we had 12 last year and were able to sit together at raglan road and mama melrose's... we were split up at coral reef... we also had one table at donald's breakfast at ak (but that meal has since switched restaurants, so i am not sure about the new set up)...

I have seen parties of over 20 seated together at O'Hana. That is one place built for that sort of thing.

I am pretty sure the Kona Cafe can accommodate, though you just may be seated in a row of tables close to one another. Spoodles has some very large tables as well as Whispering Canyon Cafe.

In fact, I believe almost all of the buffets can be accommodating.

Places I know of that have seating restrictions include Sci Fi, 50s Prime Time, Biergarten, Coral Reef, and the Garden Grill (they can host large parties up to a point, not quite sure what that is).

All of the dinner shows can handle large groups.
