TS recommendations for Epcot dinner

We are five adults (ages 34, 30, 30, 23, and 22) and we'll be in Epcot on November 11 (last weekend of F&W and Veteran's Day weekend so we know to expect crowds). It's a little early, but I'm a Type-A super-planner and want my desired ADRs firmly fixed when my 180-day window opens in mid-May.

Originally, we were talking about not making any ADRs and just snacking around the world in the afternoon/evening, but the more discussion we have, the more it seems like most of us are leaning toward wanting a sit-down dinner to relax at the end of the day.

Ideally, we'd like to be able to see IllumiNations from the restaurant, so I know that limits us. Of the restaurants you can see IllumiNations from, I've eaten at Tokyo Dining and wasn't thrilled with the view of IllumiNations, so that one is definitely out. What would y'all recommend?

Our family loves the Coral Reef, though with just about any restaurant you will hear positives and negatives. We also enjoyed Monsieur Paul, especially if you time it during Illuminations. We also like Tutto Italia, San Angel and Nine Dragons. Sorry so vague but those are our favorites. If I could only pick one it would be Monsieur Paul (or if casual, La Hacienda). For a more casual dinner, La Hacienda has some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten (plus you have a possibility of seeing Illuminations from this restaurant also), and Chefs de France is excellent. I find Le Cellier good but pricy and a bit overrated, and I'm not a fan of buffets. Akershus and Garden Grill have pretty good food as buffets go, but they have characters and can be a bit busy. Teppan Edo is good but pretty much like all Japanese restaurants Via Napoli is also very nice. I'm sorry to admit we've never eaten at Biergarten though I'm sure someone can fill you in.

ETA: the only restaurants I know you can see Illuminations from are La Hacienda and Monsieur Paul - not certain about others though having a perfect view is not guaranteed. Definitely book at least an hour before Illuminations as some people will linger to get the view or allow for wait time.

We enjoy Rose and Crown - when you make your reservation you can request to be outside..if you make an online reservation, then I would follow up with a call to Dining Reservations and have that notation made on your reservation. Good Luck!

Spice Road Table is a unique atmosphere and food, plus it has a beautiful outside seating area with a good view.

Spice Road Table rocks! It was one of the best meals I've had at Disney (lamb chops) and we had a pretty good view of Illuminations while we sipped coffee and ate dessert. My mom had the better view due to a pillar being slightly in my way, but I still could see most of the show. The staff was also outstanding.

That's good to know! I've never eaten there, but the menu looks great. I'm hoping the other people in my party will agree.

My mom is not an adventurous eater, but she enjoyed the lamb burger sliders. She didn't like the sauce on them, but we had a brie fondu for an appetizer, and she put that on the sliders and really enjoyed it.
