TS on AK night - no Y&Y

Looking for ideas for a TS dinner after AK closes at 5:00. Unfortunately, there are no openings at Y&Y (though I'll keep trying). We'll be having the Tusker House for breakfast, so would rather not go there again for dinner. And we went to Boma on our last trip and didn't love it. Any other suggestions?

As info, we'll be on the DxDP and staying at Pop. We won't have hoppers so has to be someplace outside the parks. We'll most likely want to go straight there from AK, so we won't be looking our loveliest. Two kids, ages 6 and 10 months. We already have HDDR booked for another night of our trip. Easy transportation would be a huge plus.

I would also suggest Sanaa at Kidani if you want a short ride from AK to the restaurant. Are you looking for a buffet, character meal, just a regular TS meal? Any resort TS will be pretty easy to get to after AK.

Thanks for the suggestion of Sanaa; I had forgotten it even exists! The menu looks good, too. And the kids menu has good options for DD. Looks like a go. Thanks!

We book monorail resort restaurants for after AK closing. The AKL restaurants are good, but the transportation back to your resort is a pain - you have to bus to a park to catch another bus back to Pop. Monorail resorts are easiest because you can bus directly from AK to the resort for dinner, then just hop the monorail or boat for a quick ride to MK to get your bus back to Pop.

With that in mind, California Grill and Kona are our go-tos for after-park-closing dinners on AK days. Easy transportation, good to great food (CA Grill is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere), and a nice excuse to enjoy the atmosphere and view from one of the MK area resorts.
