Ok, here's a question for you all. We love Tutto Italia, we eat there every time we go, where else would you take an 8 year old? My DN 8 enjoys a good meal like the rest of the crew and we love EPCOT, but we have only ever eaten in Italy! So please give me your opinions on other places. Now I'm not talking Character Meals, we do enough of those, but places where a kid can get a really tasty meal. Can you give me an opinion on your top 3 EPCOT TS restaurants for kids? The best tasting food is what we are looking for. Thanks! :thumbsup2

le cellier
the japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you
chefs de france
rose and crown:yay:

My DD who just turned 9 loves Coral Reef and Teppen Edo. We have done the princess diner at Norway, Garden Grill, Le Cellier and she still loves those two.

Just about any choice in EPCOT is yummy, so don't worry and enjoy!

Add the Biergarten to the list, too. Good food, lots of options on the buffet (it ain't all sausages and saurkraut!), the band is lots of fun and they invite kids to dance on the dance floor or get them involved telling them stories and such depending on the time of year, etc.

Le Cellier's does offer a grilled chicken breast or grilled steak on the menu, which is more than most restaraunts offer for the kids.

We have only eaten at Le Cellier and Marakesh for TS. Our kids ranged from 2-10 yrs for those. We adopted the philosophy for WDW that you have to try at least one new thing a day. We were mean but it worked. popcorn::

Enjoy!

Biergarten is one my 8-year-old son's favorite TS restaurants at Epcot. He is a very adventurous eater and has no trouble filling his plate with many tasty choices, but even pickier eaters can find mac 'n cheese, roasted chicken, pretzel bread, and some delicious desserts.

Coral Reef- Good Food :thumbsup2 :worship:
Teppen Edo -Good food & fun :thumbsup2 :worship:
Coral Reef- Good food & an awesome aqurium :thumbsup2 :worship:

Akershus if DN is into princesses. The food is good and the characters are great!
Biergarten. Good food and fun band! My kids liked this place during all their ages.
Coral Reef. Great food and service and a wall aquarium!

My kids like Coral Reef & Chefs de FRance. They also like eating at all the different CS places in the world Showcase.

Teppan Edo is my kids' favorite in Epcot, followed by Coral Reef. Beyond those two, they're all just restaurants. Tutto was a hit on food alone, San Angel was a miss for the same reason. The volcano just couldn't make up for food they didn't care for.

My DD8 has been to the Rose and Crown and enjoyed it and to Coral Reef which she thought was just o.k. For our December trip we plan on eating at Le Cellier and Garden Grill. My DD has taste buds like her parents so I don't worry too much about her, now it is my DD6 that I worry about.

Hey MerryWeather7 I just noticed that you are checking in the same day as us. Have a wonderful trip:thumbsup2

My vote is for Biergarten! The band is fun and there are lots of choices...my adventurous DD10 loved it and my non-adventurous DD13 had plenty to eat.

Marrakesh is also good, I think it's a well kept secret. There's a belly dancer who is friendly (mother of 4!) and the food is good.

Also, if your son likes Mexican food, the atmosphere at San Angel Inn is pretty cool, and there's the boat ride as well. Both of my kids liked the food there.

Have fun! :)
