Hi, we are a family with a 6yo and 2yo girls, both are pretty good and adventurous eaters. We have a lot of our go-to restaurants and are looking to try something new, or that we haven't been to in a while, for our upcoming trip in February. We are not huge meat eaters (I used to be vegetarian), and prefer quality over quantity, but have no dietary constraints or restrictions.

(I know many popular restaurants will be booked up; I'm trying to decide on a few touring plans alerts to set up.)

Here's what we have already for dinner:
California Grill (old favorite)
Tiffins (new)
Akershus (6yo request, but may cancel due to travel plans)

Old favorites:
Crystal Palace
Kona Cafe
every restaurant at GF
CRT
Artist Point
BOG dinner
Skipper Canteen
Spice Road Table
Tusker House

Other ones we've tried:
The Wave
Chef Mickey's (breakfast only)
Ohana (breakfast only)
Restaurant Marrakesh
Via Napoli

Is there anything we're overlooking that would be good for an early dinner with our girls?

My daughter has always loved Tepan Edo and Raglan Road. I think Morimoto is our must try next trip.

Have you ever tried Teppan Edo? That might be interesting for your daughters. It is an entertaining meal.

It's now on the list!

Also - although we are not big meat eaters, I've heard really good things about Biergarten. Would you recommend?

We used to love Marrakesh but each time we've gone there is less and less belly dancing.

I have not eaten at Biergarten in a really long time. I ate there once as a kid and didn’t like it but I wouldn’t mind trying it again.

Also, another interesting place to eat for your daughters might be at 50s Prime Time. It can be entertaining since the parents will be treated like kids. I remember my dad getting made fun of because he didn’t eat his veggies.

Do you visit in the late Fall or Winter time frame? If so, the restaurant is cold & drafty and the dancers really rush because they are cold. I love Marrakesh but usually visit in early Sept when it is still terribly hot & humid so prime dancer weather.

I would also second Raglan Road. Good food & great live entertainment that is family friendly.

Yak & Yeti in AK is also a fav. Very good food & decor is really interesting. Maybe check out the kids' menu on the Disney Dining site to see if their choices will work for them.

50s Prime Time sounds like fun! We usually don't spend more than a half day at HS but maybe we can figure something out this trip. What didn't you like about Biergarten - the food or entertainment?

We last were at Marrakesh in late August, super hot and humid, and the dancer danced for maybe one song and 15-20 minutes? Our daughter's kindergarten teacher is a belly dance instructor, so she (our 6yo) and I had each taken some belly dancing lessons and had been looking forward to getting a chance to dance as well - which didn't happen on our last trip.

Will have to add Yak and Yeti to the list - we always end up at Tusker House when we are in AK, so would like to mix it up a bit. (Really looking forward to Tiffin's!)

Are you on the dining plan? If not, I would go off the beaten path and eat at one or two of the restaurants at Swan/Dolphin. Kimono's has the best sushi on property, IMHO and bluezoo is one of the best restaurants - great fish dishes and a really good kids' menu.

How about Whispering Canyon? They have options other than the skillet. It's lots of fun, and a trip to the Wilderness Lodge is always neat!

It was probably about 20 years ago so I can’t remember much. I would probably say that the food was bland to my liking but this 12 year old me remembering.

Not on dining plan. We are staying at BLT most likely, so we were looking at mostly MK. But thank you - because now we have more to add to our "to try" list!

I had heard the food was "eh" - no? That is my concern about Coral Reef too - I think my kids would love the aquarium but I haven't heard great things about the food.
The food there is fantastic. It's eh at Tony's lol.

The food has not been bad the last time I was at Coral Reef. We are there two years ago for the Candlelight Processional and loved it. We always went there when I was a kid because I love aquariums.
