TS breakfasts at Epcot resorts - which would you pick?

We have a resort day planned for a Monday in August. Unfortunately it is the first Monday morning of the free dining! I figured we'd just wing it for breakfast, maybe trying FRESH at the Dolphin, or somewhere else.

But now I feel I should be safe and have an ADR - even on a Monday morning (of course I'm hoping all these "free dining" folks will head out to the parks for their first morning, leaving us alone at the Swan/Dolphin grotto pool!).

Please - thoughts and comments on these breakfasts. I'm leaning toward Fresh.

We have done Cape May for dinner many times. We do it every trip. We are trying it for Breakfast this year since we are staying at the BCV. I have heard wonderful thinkgs about the breakfast too. That gets my vote.

We love Cape May Buffet, the food is awesome. Another day we went to Spoodles and it was disgusting, sad thing is we had reservations for both places at 7:40 or so and Cape May food was incredible and Spoodles made to order was inedible! For $10 more we should have done Cape May a second time.

BTW, I am from Saugus MA, I hear it is pretty cold up there right now!

I'm in Marblehead! Actually today was beautiful, but tomorrow they're predicting snow and rain, with temps plummeting tonight - right after Dice-K finishes pitching! LOL!

We just had breakfast at Cape May last month. It was really very good. They had a great variety to choose from and even a yogurt bar. We thought the character interaction was great too. We were with my DGD (and her mom and dad) and the characters- Goofy, Minnie and Chip and Dale made a hugh fuss over her. She is a 6mo. old so I didn't know what to expect but they all patted her and played with her. We have adorable pictures of her and Minnie. My DGD is just all smiles! My DH said he could hear Minnie say "Hi baby, aren't you a pretty girl" very softly through her mask. No wonder my DGD was just enthralled. And btw, we had dinner at Spoodles as well. We thought it was very good, espcially the lamb and the white sangria. Oh the flatbreads were good too. I think you will have a good dinner there. I would go back.

Thanks all! I asked the fam last night, and they say "no" to a character breakfast, so no Cape May! Oh well.
