whats your fav TS at MK?
We went to tonys last month and i didnt really like it too much..the service was awesome! Best service all wk, but the food was just eh. kwim?
SO if you dont have a fav place to eat at MK, whats your fav restaurant that i can get to easily from MK? We will be there last wk of Sept during FD! oh maybe we can hop over to Epcot to eat and back to MK for the night hmm now im thinking lol

I totally agree with you Tony's did not strike our fancy either , ate there last year and may never go back :(

I would suggest maybe a ressie at Ohana's @ POLY , Kona also at the POLY , Grand Floridian Cafe @ GF or 1900 Park Fare @ GF . You can get to all four easily from the MK and I think they are all great meals :thumbsup2 Good luck with your ressies and I hope you have a wonderful trip princess:

Keep in mind that Kona Cafe, the Grand Floridian Cafe and The Wave (at each of the monorail resorts) are open for lunch, but places like 'Ohana and 1900 Park Fair are only open for breakfast and dinner.

Specifically IN MK I love The Plaza (great sandwiches and salads)!:thumbsup2

I agree 100%. This is our last meal of every trip...love it after all the heavy meals we eat all week and it is just plain good food! We also love Crystal Palace for breakfast.

Aw, I'm sorry you didn't like Tony's. We love it and never have had a problem with it.

Why not hop on the monorail and head over to the Poly and try either Ohana or Kona Cafe?

We really enjoyed Tonys last month, the calamari was awesome!

Eat at one of the resorts on the monorail line.

Sorry to hijack your thread, OP...Is it fairly easy from MK to get on the monorail, go to a resort for dinner, then back to MK? About how long does it take (travel time round trip)?

We are relying on Disney transportation with small kids, coming from CBR. I was also struggling to find TS at MK that I wanted to try.

Yes it's very easy. The Resort Monorail route goes Magic Kingdom - Contemporary - TTC - Polynesian - Grand Floridian and back to the Magic Kingdom.

From the Magic Kingdom - Contemporary is about a 30 second ride.

From the Contemporary - Polynesian takes about 5 - 10 minutes because you need to factor in stopping at the TTC.

From the Polynesian - Grand Floridian takes 2 - 3 minutes.

Finally from the Grand Floridian - Magic Kingdom should be 1 - 2 minutes.

We really like all the place in the MK
Tony's
CP
Castle
Plaza
and the CS are all good I think.
