I have to make an ADR change during our vacation, and we're going to be having lunch at HS vs. Epcot. We're on the Deluxe DP, and I need a TS recommendation. I know the Brown Derby is there, but that's a 2 TS/person, and I can't do that. What other options are there, that will get us the best value for our plan?

Thanks :)

I really like 50's Prime Time Cafe (the pot roast is my favorite, and a peanut butter and jelly milkshake!) and Sci-Fi Dine-in (the blt soup is really good imo!). I think they are both just so fun though because they theming. We usually do one or the other every trip! :)

Agree with PPs 50s PTC!!! the food was great and the CMs were fun.

We didn't enjoy sci-FI for dinner (it was awful), but lunch seems to get pretty good reviews.

We had lunch at Sci-Fi for the first time on our trip in December - we loved it! The onion rings were sooooo yummy and the atmosphere is great. I do love The Hollywood Brown Derby though, so we always go there for dinner but this time we decided to do a TS for lunch and we'd definitely go back to Sci-Fi again. I don't know that it's the best monetary value on the dining plan, but I don't care much about that. I would rather enjoy the experience and not worry about the price so much.

My vote is for Sci-fi Dine-In. We went for lunch and it was very yummy and very fun. The kids loved it.

In order of preference: Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time, Sci-Fi. We didn't care for Brown Derby and you couldn't pay us to go back to H&V.

I would choose Sci-Fi!! The theming is great and the food was pretty good when we were there. All of us loved it except my youngest. I don't think he cared for the movies. But overall it was really good.

My vote is for Mama Melrose, if you're interested in the food over the theme. I thought Sci-Fi was good but forgettable, I thought 50's was ok, but I really didn't like getting yelled at. Having read reviews of MM, I didn't expect much, but I thought it was delicious. I think I had the spaghetti fra diavolo with the seafood, and also tasted the calimari and the chicken flatbread. It was *not* mediocre by any means.

Mama Melrose's food was wonderful. Prime Time 50's was good food but rather noisy and if the atmosphere isn't what you like it can be a problem. Haven't been to Sci Fi but plan to go in May.

Thank you everyone. Sci-fi was booked until 2:30, so my husband picked Mama Melrose - which I'm very happy with. I'm so glad that is all over with now :)
