TS Alberto advice needed

Help! My friend and I are scheduled to leave for the World on Friday (we're staying till next Wednesday), but this news about Alberto has us both scared! In fact, my friend doesn't want to go if it's still badly storming! Does anyone know if the storm is likely to continue through Friday?

Also, in the event that it's stormy all week, are the nighttime parades, fireworks, etc. going to be canceled? Because I've planned all my nighttime ADRs and itinerary around them! Arrrghh!! I can't believe this is happening, this is my very first trip to the World and my b-day trip, I will be SO sad if it's ruined by Alberto!

I am at Disney now and the weather is great. It was horrible yesterday and today but cleared up this afternoon. Right after we landed yesterday in Orlando the rain and wind was really bad. This morning as the storm passed through and now its clear. You will be fine for friday.

Alberto went over South Carolina last night. A family friend lives there. You have nothing to worry about. But be warned. Rain in Florida during the summer isn't a very rare occasion. Most things continue on. If something is cancelled, it's for a very good reason.

Thank you all so much!! I feel WAY better now and I am SO excited for my trip, the DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!! Woohoo!!!!
