Trying Topolino's - 1st Time

We are selecting Topolino's for my bday dinner. I am eyeing the steak.

Wondered what you have tried that you felt was either fantastic or perhaps even a disappointment? This could be a main dish, appetizer or dessert. (we do not drink alcohol)

The Rigatoni is a favorite of mine! I’ve also had the Scallops which were very good too.

ETA: DH had the Bouillabaisse and loved it.

Everything my party has had has always been amazing. I have had the steak and it was fantastic. My friend's husband had a lamb shank that looked amazing. My Mom has had the bouilibaise and loved it. The warm chocolate cake for dessert is absolutely amazing. Going back next month and looking forward to it again.

Everything we have had there so far has been very good. We love the room and the view too.

Had a great steak there, and the birthday dessert was super cute! I had a great little corner booth with a view of the kitchen as a solo diner, which really helped pass the time with nobody else to talk to. While I've never received bad service as a solo traveler, I did get some of the best at Topolino's.

I had the rigatoni and my wife had the sole.

They were both great and next time I will have the sole.

The ricotta appetizer and the rigatoni are our favorites. My husband and son are big fans of the modern fashioned if you're interested in cocktails. I really enjoyed the marseille spritz as well.

If you love anything truffle, I recommend the rigatoni!! My husband got the rigatoni and I got the beef cheeks. Beef cheeks were very tender and really good. My mom got the steak, which was also very good. If there's a next time, I'd definitely order the rigatoni though, I am a sucker for anything truffle! Beets salad and the gnocchi as appetizers were very good too. No disappointments.

We had the ricotta appetizer too. It's definitely a pretty dish. I'm sure it was great, but, we found out we aren't really ricotta fans, at least not that much ricotta.

The wife and I went last year. Like pp we were sat in the small area that you can see the kitchen work. Loved being able to see all, and the 2 head chefs just wandered around and chatted with us. very informative.
We do not eat alot, so we split the escargot as app, and then had the filet mignon and added the scallops. Impressed with the whole meal. Well worth it.

We opted for a later dinner (fireworks) with three adults and filled the table with appetizers and then desserts. Service was the best we ever had on property. EVERYTHING was excellent and loved how the server explained in detail what everything was.

I'm thinking about 7:30-7:45. I usually aim for that time for a nice dinner at a resort on check in day (if not going to a party). By time we were eating it was well after 8 or so.

We love Topolino's however the last visit- I was disappointed. In the past I have loved everything, truly loved everything. However I went for some different items and was not happy at all. The Ratatouille appetizer was not good. The little medallions were good but the sauce was so over heavy tomato paste foward it was not good. I also went with the Branzino (instead of the sole which is amazing) and I am a huge fan of Branzino-however it has so much heavy add ons it took away from how delicate the fish can be and it drowned it out. It probably would not have bugged me except when you pay $$ it hurts more! The rest of my party was happy-I will stick to my usual next time!!

I always say I'm going to try something different but always end up ordering the sole because it is prepared so well. We have reservations there in May and looking forward to it!

The rigatoni is amazing - the chocolate cake was such a good balance of bittersweet chocolate and caramel. Can't wait to go back!

I had dinner there for the first time this evening and was disappointed. The best part of the evening was the view of the fireworks, which was great.

We had the Heirloom Beet Salad to start with. The balance of the meal was wrong, dish was packed with poor quality salad that acted as a filler.
Both our main courses were over seasoned, far too much salt. The Scallops although they were cooked ok they were not prepared well and had stringy bits..
The flavours of the Rigatoni were masked by the high level of salt in the dish.

I would have been disappointed to receive this type of meal at a Disney quick service restaurant.

For the price point of this restaurant the standard should be much higher.
