Trying to trade with Phinny

Both times I waited through well over 100 people to get into phinny's trade room to get the Grand Calif. pin. The first time I got disconnected right after the trade window popped up and she typed hi.
The second time I actually got to put a pin in the window, but she wouldn't take the Pirates insider quest pin. She said "I don't take those". I figured a quest pin would be valuable enough to get a Grand Calif. pin, but ok. I went to change it to a different pin and *boom* disconnected again. I am really not happy!

I am quite surprised she wouldn't take the quest pin as well. Wierd...

Well all I can say is to send a message to the black hole. There were no clear instructions as to what they were trading and what you could trade till she tells you no or yes. Or if you were fortunate to have someone post what they traded and it was successful.

If they only would be more proactive in their events, how much smoother the process would be. Have more rooms, have CL's assist with these events. There has to be a better way to run this. I have already sent my note to the black hole.

I did this event to prevent my kids from getting upset. Thank goodness I did, I would have had tears from the first time they dc'd. Just think of those little kids whose parents did not help them.

Please send a note to the black hole - maybe they can get it better next time.

I tried the quest pin too and she said "nope." I think it really had to be something worth 500 credits, so fortunately I bought the Polynesian one at the Emporium before getting in the queue for the fourth time!

I wish they had been more clear. I thought the quest pins would be considered more valuable than a pin that had been for sale, and thus a good trade. I could have put up something else first, but that was one of the easiest to spot and I figured it was worth a Grand Calif pin.

I finally got to trade with her, and I just quickly put up a polynesian hotel pin and asked her, "is this good" and she said yes, then traded. I would guess she'll trade her grand californian for any other hotel pin. Oh, I disconnected right after our trade was complete. You have to be fast for sure!

I feel your pain.
This was before...I was hoping to trade for the lion pin:
I was in line...got in...got a trade window...tried to click trade....wouldn't work and before i could tell her....i got BOOTED!

I will never get the Lion pin... and now there is another 'trade only' pin??
And I won't even talk about that darn yellow soldier fiasco
