trying to reach member services

Been trying to reach member services to add Magical Express to my upcoming vacation. All I get is a busy signal. Same signal I received back when trying to reach DVC during IRMA. Anyone else have that issue ? So frustrating !
 
They were closed yesterday for the New Year's Day holiday, so call volume will likely be higher today.
 
I just called and it was a 30 minute wait. My issue is not time sensitive so I will call later in the week.
 
You can submit the DME request online from the member website: Plan Vacations > Pre-Arrival Checklist > Reserve Disney's Magical Express (click 'Read More'). A link to the online webform is in the first paragraph under "How to Reserve".

You can book Magical Express on line if you do not want to wait for phone rep.
We did get through earlier to speak to MS with 6 minutes wait time.

Thanks ! Was able to book ME online. Did not realize it was in the pre arrival checklist, as I have always booked directly with member services.
 
I've been trying to get through. Very irritating that they don't put you in a queu with a wait time, and give the member the option if they want to wait on hold or not.

They do! I was given the wait time of 30 minutes. If you are getting a busy signal, the queue is full.
 
Today is crazy (I called at 9:00 EST on the dot and my wait was 30 min) and the phone system game me VERY long pauses between prompts. Be patient and it will eventually come on. They were closed yesterday, but it’s also the last days of the ticketing deals for DVC members so it’s crazy. They do have longer hours for now and are open late.
Good luck and try to be patient with them the next couple days.

As long as you have unlimited long distance, use the 407 number instead of the 800 number. That's how I got through. Still had a 40 minute wait but better than a busy signal. 407-566-3800
 
I am on hold now. Estimated wait time is 40 minutes!

I just got off a call so one less in your queue. I was told 40 minutes and it was right about 40 minutes, so hang in there and enjoy the disney music (and repeated reminders about the extended MS hours.) Mercifully, my call was answered just as it's a small world was starting to play. :thumbsup2

Hang in there everyone!! I finally got through after being on there 30 mins the 1st time and 45 mins the next. Already got my code entered for the AP and ready to go!!
