My wife and I will be returning to DL for a two day trip (one park per day) for the first time in many years (our one and only visit was right before Cars Land opened). I'm trying to plan out the day.
Unfortunately, it will be the Sunday and Monday of President's day so probably a little crowded.
We tend to get there at rope drop and stay until close.
1) We will be using Disney Genie+ and paying for webslingers and the Cars racers but not Rise. Since we are going to make rope drop is the better strategy to book attractions first thing in the morning, then other ones when we are done, or just book starting at 11 assuming the lines will not be too bad in the beginning? I haven't mapped out a touring plan yet but in my head I'm thinking of a hybrid plan where we do popular rides at rope drop (ones we might want to repeat later in the day), then have the LL booked starting around 11 and then hit the non-LL rides while waiting for the LL rides.
2) We avoid sit down restaurants (we tend to be park commando types). It looks like there are a lot less options in DL than DW. Any suggestions? My wife is gluten free so I have to keep that as a consideration (although I have found Disney to be incredibly accomodating with gluten or allergy issues).
Thanks for any advice!
