I have read many post regarding the Caribe Royal hotel. It looks very nice & I found a rate of $125. for a 1 bdrm suite. Here's my dumb ?. Is this a "timeshare" or a hotel? I DO NOT want to attend any type of presentation since we are only there a few days. I'm leaning in this direction because I am traveling w/ 4 kiddos ages randging from 15-7yrs. & are only planning a day or so @ the parks. We are visiting my DH who is doing "storm" work in FL. Any info regarding Caribe Royal is appreciated!

No need to worry. Our family has stayed there 3 times and we've enjoyed every stay. Pool is great (w/a slide) and families are put in the same "tower" so you will not be mixed in with convention goers. We did do a timeshare presentation while staying one time, but it was with the Vistana Resort down the street. There is a desk set up in the lobby of the Caribe with information. I would not do it again; very high sales pitch. We are good at saying NO! The Caribe property does not have their own "sales presentation".
Have a great stay!

We just stayed a few days. It was handy to both Disney and Universal. We never did any timeshare presentations.
