Trying to pick is giving me headache!

I currently have 2 rooms at Pop booked this summer AND a 3 bedroom at Cypress Pointe. I have been having a difficult time giving up the Pop room even though it is twice as expensive.....we like having the space. After our last trip staying at ASMO (2 rooms) I swore I would never stay off property again.

Well now there is a good possibility that my husband will only be able to come for a long weekend (3 nights) because of his job......this would be instead of 2 weeks!!

Im thinking I would feel much safer on property than off.......

So now I dont know if I should try to get a ASMU suite instead of 2 rooms at Pop.......its a bit more expensive but since there will only be 5 of us instead of 6 of us I would definitely be saving on tickets and meals.

Should I stay with Pop and continue to hope for free dining the last week of August or should I switch to ASMU Suites now? I have AAA discount on Pop. I am getting an AP so would have that towards discounts also. I thought I read that the suites were getting AAA rate now.....

Anyone have anything to say that will make me feel better about either decision......I wish I could hold two reservations at Disney until I find out for certain about my husband......arg!!
