We are trying to pick a time to cruise in 2006 and having a heck of a time. We have done Eastern Carib. and want to do Western now. This is our first time on the New Disney Cruise line , sailed with them years ago when they were Premier, and we really want to have a good time. We would like to cruise off-season but not during prime hurricane season. We are looking at late Jan 2006, March 2006, June 2006, October 2006. Which one is better and why. We don't want to break the bank on this trip so we are staying away from Spring break, Thanksgiving & Xmas

Thank you for any help you can provide

Judy

we will be on the 7 night western caribbean for jan 28-feb 4 and celebrating 4 birthdays..Hubby 1-28, Mine 2-1 and now 2 of our friends are going with 1 bday 12-30 and the other 1-21.. we like the winter months, not too crowded, not expensive, not too hot, and still ALOT of fun.. we have never done a 7night dcl so we are really excited and looking forward to it. our son who will be 15 by the time we go is jealous cause his bday is in May..he asked if he can have a new bday just for the trip..

good luck in your decision making

We have taken several cruises and have found that the first week in November is the best. It is still warm (not to hot), the seas have always been good. The best part is the rates are cheaper as well.

I would opt for Jan or Oct vs March or June.....

Jan- weather cool and comfortable, less crowded, great pricing
Oct - less crowded, great pricing, warm but comfortable
Mar - typically $$$$$$, crowded,
June - hot, $$$$$$, very very crowded ship and ports....
