I got into an agent within 2 minutes...I asked for my first ADR and she said it was outside her jurisdiction and she was transferring me to Ala Carte?? So now I am on hold...been about 8 minutes now. Why did I get transferred?

BTW the ADR was for a Crystal Palace breakfast.

I appear to be talking to myself...however after waiting for almost an hour and going into panic mode I got everything I wanted. Since it is 6am here in Tucson...I am going back to bed. :)

I was on the phone at 7:01 and off by 7:18. I got everything except Fantasmic Dining at MM on June 2nd.

Weird, not sure why I was on hold for so long but either way I am relieved. Glad the ADR run is over. :)

Did they ever explain "out of jurisdiction" (what, like the ADRs have LEGAL weight?:lmao: ) or "a la carte" :confused3 . Reservations are reservations, right?

no...not sure if it had to do with my having a split stay or not...I was just happy to get through so I didn't bother asking. I have to say the second agent was much friendlier than the first one who transferred me.

Someone on another board I participate in was on the phone with Dining for over 3 hours starting at 7 AM this morning - I think she said almost 3.5 hours of being hold and to make her reservations, being transferred, on hold, transferred, on hold, etc., etc.! :scared1:

Having worked in the contact center environment for the past 12 years this does not surprise me. It was probably a combination of new systems and agents not being trained properly...these problems are all too familiar to me LOL.

one more comment...

the first queue I was in told me my expected wait time (2 minutes)...

the second one I was transferred to never gave me any indication of a wait time and I wanted to poke my ear drums out with pencils after listening to the same Disney theme park music play over and over again for an hour. I wish the 2nd queue would also have provided an estimated wait time.

The only thing I can gather is that you were trying to make reservations for dates that needed to be on the new system and that the first CM you got was on the old. There was a prompt saying if you need to make reservations between May 26th and June something to press 1 (or something like that). Did you bypass that or was it not asking that? :confused3 That's the only thing I can think of.

I never got that prompt. :)

I received that prompt today after trying to get through 4 times for a total of 45 min. of wait time I finally made my ressie. Low and behold I am on the "new" system.
