I am trying desparately to keep our trip a secret :ssst: from DD4 (Princess CinderSleepingBelle) and I am barely able to contain my excitement!
How am I going to last another 19 sleeps?

DH is almost just as excited so it is really starting to get hard to keep it quiet. It will be her first trip. I took DH for his first trip on our honeymoon 7 years ago. I can almost cry when I think of the look on his face the first time he saw the castle. I can only imagine how much I will cry on this trip! (waterproof mascara already purchased!)
I may have to keep posting here to contain myself. My co-workers can only take so much more!
:bounce: :Pinkbounc :yay:  :woohoo:

I can totally relate. We are leaving in 20 minutes and my boys have NO IDEA

Wow! That is inspiration to hold out. I bet they will be just blown away - Enjoy your trip!

We took our DS (then 5) last year. I started planning in July for our March trip. About a week before we told him we were going to visit relatives for Spring Break. On the way to the airport we told him he would get to ride on a plane for the first time, then when he saw were we were going all the secrets were worth it. Our whole family new and even his teacher at school new but they were all as excited as us about making it a complete surprise. You will be glad you did. :thumbsup2

I am also keeping it a secret for my girls and they are dying to go there. when they ask to go there we tell them maybe next year! ;) I am so excited to see the look on their faces. :goodvibes :yay:

I'm going to try to hold out too, but it's sooooo hard! Especially from DS13, he's such a sneak and sees little things around the house. He caught me last time but he didn't let on~he's sweet.

Yay! I am not alone.

Just this morning she picked out the Mickey print I have from my 1978 trip that is in my bedroom, as if she hadn't seen it before. (I really should get that framed before it gets damaged eh?)
The coolest thing right now is trying to decide how to tell her when the time comes. Do we go for the Princess phone call? Do we print out the custom storybook with Cinderella inviting her for a sleepover from the Disney Artist site? Do we stick with just a "Tinkerbell gift" in the hotel room the morning before we fly out?
Decisions decisions.

I would love to hear some of the other secret Disney Mom's plans.

Another secret keeper here!

We go in December and our 3 kids have no idea! They have never been, never even been on a plane. They are DYING to go. It will be so exciting to tell them (the night before is our plan). I just ordered t-shirts at the Disney store online and the plan is to give them each a present to open and tell them it is something that they can use more before Christmas. I wonder when they see they all have the same shirt if it will click at all? We are going the week before Christmas Dec 15-22 and it is their big gift.

Have fun keeping your secret, not much longer now!

Allyson :)
