Trying to justify character dining price with 11 yr old

Sometimes we lose perspective, and you are right, it's jsut $15 and soon, too soon, like my 13 year old son, your children will no longer be interested in it. What a wonderful surprise! Have a wonderful time!

DD is 13 - and she is looking forward to it... this trip.....

and is wondering if we can go in the fall instead of Jan "next time"

of course I raised my kids to believe in Santa - "for my sake" of course!! (my oldest is 24, and he still comes home for Christmas Eve - has to make sure Santa treats us right!! LOL)

I think your ds might be my ds's long lost twin! LOL

We are going on a 4 night cruise before WDW and I can tell you they will LOVE being able to go get whatever they want when they want. That is the thing about oldest ds....he is more of a "lots of small meals" type eater. Putting a huge dinner in front of him sort of overwhelms him which is why if he only wants bread and butter and a shake when we go out to eat I don't mind at all! He's happy and I know he has a well balanced diet so I don't worry!

But again, I will remind myself it is about the experience!!

We're doing a cruise in January too - our first - you're right -- both of my "grazers" will probably love it!

We did character breakfasts for my older niece, 12.5, and that worked out better for all of us as she loves breakfast, characters and the price was cheaper than dinner....dinner would have been a waste on her (we did one dinner, 1900 PF, and that was just throwing money away

Yup...grazer is a good way of putting it! LOL What cruise are you on? Maybe the "twins" will meet in the Oceaneer Lab....we go 1/31! Can't wait!
